Jude The Obscure Returns With Light-Hearted Neo-Jazz Number ‘Chapter 8’

Mancunian based singer/songwriter Jude The Obscure has returned with his hip-hop influenced rhymes and experimental sounds all about overcoming those personal struggles – a track we can all relate to right now.

After his previous release ‘Strong Enough’ it was clear to see that there was more than meets the eye with this young creative and after his features in BBC Introducing last year, it shows that Jude The Obscure is not stopping anytime soon.

The twenty-four-year-old has always had the influence of soul, jazz and hip-hop in his life and now he’s putting that influence into practise with the new effort ‘Chapter 8’.

One thing to note about this new track is the clean-cut production where the smooth transitions between rhymes and jazz instrumentals intertwine perfectly.

The talented artist has plans to release his debut E.P this year and if this track is proof of how good the new music will be, then it’s time to hear a new chapter as we need more music from Jude The Obscure!

Jude The Obscure on his new track:

“Chapter 8 is a feel-good number, shedding the weight of hardships and social disillusion in favour of a more light-hearted take on life. Chapter 8 reinforces the importance of keeping your head above water and overcoming personal struggles, but at the same time reminds us of the need for balance – don’t burn yourself out chasing whatever goal you’re trying to attain. Make sure you chill out every once in a while, live a little and take time to recharge.”
