K. Johns Tha General’s Music Video for ‘No Handouts’ is Officially Out

Los Angeles-based rapper K. Johns Tha General just released a brand new music video called “No Handouts.” The single is from his latest EP Kobe & Shaq, which dropped earlier this year and includes 6 songs. The project is his latest effort which shows off his skills and ability to craft a creative, unique collection that sets him apart from others.

The music video for “No Handouts” follows K. Johns Tha General as he counts his money and talks about how focused he is. The visual adds a new layer to the song which definitely is a standout on the EP, among the other tracks. The creative direction along with the editing of the video position Tha General as someone who is truly a star in his own right.

As an ambitious, independent artist, K. Johns Tha General has a sound that can be described as very “LA.” His music speaks on the everyday life of LA natives and the experiences that he has had. In a recent interview, Tha General said that music is his true passion and his motivation for making it comes from wanting to provide opportunities for his family and others like him.

As far as artists that he’s influenced by, he says that there are several icons on the list but a few include Nipsey Hussle, Lil Wayne, Drake and Wiz Khalifa.

On “No Handouts,” the artist delivers new and lyrics combined with his aggressive delivery set the tone and rightfully earn him the title of “Tha General.”
