Mancunian Singer [K S R] Drops His New Single ’Stylin’’

Following the success of his latest release ‘My Lady’, Mancunian singer [K S R] returns to deliver his latest offering of the year from his forthcoming independent project, with ‘Stylin’’.

Continuing to explore a new direction with his sound influenced by Hip Hop rhythms, differing to his RnB / Soul roots, the emerging artist continues to aim high when it comes to his craft, with an aim to push limits and break boundaries, resulting in ‘Stylin’’ representing just that.

Speaking on the track he said: “Stylin’’ is based on a girl who is trying to flex on the world, her friends, enemies, ex’s etc but is also trying to conquer her dreams at the same time and achieve her potential and worth like all of us are trying to do in some way shape or form.”

“This is another side to me that has not been shown before, an experiment of sorts you could say. Whilst writing my first EP “Unfiltered” I was listening to and being inspired by people such as D’Angelo, Miguel, and Children of Zeus, which you can hear throughout that release, but at the same time I am not stuck to any one genre. I can make anything I like and due to being massively influenced by the likes of Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and Octavian is how this energetic release became reality.”

Produced by Litek and up and coming producer OUTHOUSE, who also played an essential part in the creation of ‘Last Lap’, and ‘My Lady’, his single which went on to achieve 100,000+ streams on Spotify alone, [K S R] was inspired to steer in a new direction after working with leading collective Children of Zeus member, Tyler Daley, who produced 2019’s ‘Flex With Me’.

Citing influences from greats including D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, and Miguel to name a few, since honing his craft from 2017, achievements to date have included support from key tastemaker MIXMAG, BBC Introducing Manchester with ‘New Love’, and fellow radio platforms BBC 1Xtra, Reprezent, NTS, and Unity Radio. He also has a background supporting Etta Bond, Children of Zeus, and The Mouse Outfit, as well as experience performing to sold out audiences, including memorable sets at Outlook, and Sun & Bass Festival – all of which are a direct result of his dedication and talent.

Showcasing his creative skills as a diverse rising artist in today’s scene, [K S R] continues to revel in creating his own narrative of what an artist to watch for the foreseeable should be and all eyes are on him as he continues to do so. Don’t sleep.
