Hania’s journey with music goes back to her roots in Poland. She grew up in a rural environment always surrounded by nature. Her father introduced her to a record by Kayah Bregovic when she was five. The mixture of pop-folk from the Balkans and music of the Gorals is the first record she can recall and something that continues to inspire her. Hania began songwriting around the age of nine, when she picked up a guitar and started singing along to what she was playing. Around the same time, she started performing and attending songwriting contests and camps. Hania’s passion for music only grew from there and she then decided to come to the USA to study music at the age of eighteen. In the US, she started her solo project in the Fall of 2018 when she met Cuetrek, a Norwegian-producer that she found a musical connection with, which resulted in working on multiple records together. Hania released her debut single on March 27th, 2020 and her previous release “Asleep” was featuring on New Music Friday Polska.
