Inspired by a plethora of iconic female vocalist from Avril Lavigne to
Debbie Harry,Tiffany and Debbie Gibson ,  SARAH SUNDAY continues their legacy with a talent  exudes that Punk Rock Sound.

The short, sweet to the point background of Sarah and how she was discovered from her Manager/Producer and Songwriter …Dj MbjI had written the music before I met Sarah,  believe it or not she was working at a Sephora near my home and I saw here, loved her look and just walked up to her and asked her if she can sing, she said yes, the rest is history.. Her love of Music comes from her father who was a very accomplished pianist,  Sarah takes enjoyment in a plethora of musical genres.   However Sarah is really  drawn to and has a passion for the 80’s from music to personal style.  Her music has that retro sound that is surging, the old is new again musical inclination that scends  the scene!’

What is your “backstory”?

I was always interested in singing and music. It was a regular work day for me at Sephora. My Future Manager and Producer, MBj came by one day and liked my eccentric look, asked if I could sing, and I said yes. We clicked immediately, and from that day on Sarah Sunday was born.

Can you share the funniest or most interesting story that occurred to you in the course of your music career?

As I was shooting the video for MENTAL ZOO, my last Single,  I met the Dr. who invented the  tattoo laser removal while shoot in his dermatologic office, which I thought was pretty cool and he was hysterical and had a blast shooting at his office!!

What are some of the most interesting or exciting projects you are working on now?

My next song, stay tuned!  I have two new Tracks in the works, quarentine hasn’t allowed me to record at MBj’s Studio, However I have been working on the vocals and I promise the songs are Sarah Sunday-ish but with a different feel!

Who are some of the most famous people you have interacted with? What was that like? Do you have any stories?

Like I mentioned while I was shooting Mental Zoo, and I felt pretty famous for that! Let’s leave it there, I want to feel famous!  lol…

What would you advise to an aspiring artist who would like to emulate your career?

Stay positive, and always work with people who truly understand you and your vision.

How have you used your success to bring goodness into the world?

I try to by bringing a positive message with my songs and hope they “catch my signal through my beam”.

What is the “1 thing wish someone told me when I first started” and why.

Never give up on what you want.  Never…and Complete what one starts!
