Review: Bryce Vine Drops Powerful New EP ‘Problems’

Multi-platinum artist Bryce Vine (You probably know his double Platinum “Drew Barrymore,” and “La La Land,”), dropped a power-packed five-track EP this morning which is a full-ride through no skips. His powerful voice guides the listener through a tremendous journey and deposits them safely on the other side. Leading the charge is the inspirational Life Goes On which grabs you from the opening note and is a reality check because even when the lights go out and you shut down, life keeps moving with or without your participation. Love that joint.

Next on my HIT list is Fireside, a reflective journey that takes you down memory lane and discusses the changes life brings, good and bad but assures us that we are alright and might be better off for all the bruises

There’s more adventure in Strawberry Water and a revealing understanding of self and one’s limitation for dealing with the BS…everyone has demons LOL this one is a fun joint.

The closing track Problems is a multi-tasker, one which will have a vastly different set of meanings for each listener. This is one of those joints that fits the times we are in AND touches on a love interest in the same breath…do you have a favorite problem? Bryce does…

I can’t say I expected anything less from Bryce Vine than a set of eloquent observations driven by a masterful use of timbre and intonation and amazingly tight instrumentation. “One to watch” doesn’t quite cover it…this is a star who is only beginning to shine.
