Senior’s Music Connects Fans on a Soul Level

Senior (James William Awad) is inspired by reality. A whole 99.9% of his lyrics come from real-life experiences from his roller coaster of a life. All of that, he has channeled in a natural and effortless way.

He has put together a collection of emotions, stories, the sensation of overcoming hurdles at a very young age, and an intense drive to love and to succeed. Senior knows rejection first-hand. He has wanted to sing for as long as he can remember. In school, he got harshly rejected from a stage performance, but that didn’t stop him. He continued to pursue music with his whole being. Senior decided to forego the traditional way of doing things and march to the beat of his own drum.

Instead of going to a recording studio, he built one in his very own basement. With the help of a friend who knew how to mix beats well, Senior recorded his first single, “Alexandra.” The song was received incredibly well after he put out a snippet on social media, so the artist decided to follow up with an album. He spread out all of his accumulated “emotional baggage” on his metaphorical drawing board and created magic.

Senior believes in human connection as a fundamental need which is why his lyrics touch the very core of a large, international audience with their relatability. Senior believes in love above all. His music connects people on a soul level, and the artist could not be happier about that.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for another of Senior’s songs, called “Trust in me,” which will be coming out after his song “Alexandra.” The release date of his songs will begin on August 15th.
