Oochie Spiff@the_oochie_way

Oochie Spiff is a Brooklyn born rapper known for his catchy melodies and captivating flow. After the warm reception of his debut EP The Oochie Way, he and his manager immediately started working on the follow up project. His debut Ep features a wide range of sophisticated production and standout tracks “Work Out” “ U Said” and “Demons.” Since its release, Oochie and the team have also formed an independent label: Bloodline Music.  His latest single, “Soul Gone” prod by FrankGotThePack is a soft reflection with a butter smooth melodic flow over bassy 808’s. The track will also serve as the leadoff track on his followup project, The Oochie Way Vol. 2. Going forward, Oochie Spiff will continue to serve us with crisp melodies and a diverse range of sounds. Keep an eye out for more visuals from this talented young Brooklyn artist – as well as for Volume 2…coming soon!

Mar Finesse @mar_finesse

Born and raised in the Bronx, Mar Finesse is a rising artist honing his sound. With an energetic drill-inspired flow and captivating vocals, Mar is definitely one to watch. Inspired by the complex environment he was raised in, he touches on relatable struggles and harsh realities. His ultimate goal is to be able to give back and invest in his communities and future generations. His latest track, “Acting Up” is a classic drill vibe set to visual featuring the now-universal quarantine-backyard kickback. While the beat may sound familiar, Mar’s vocal qualities and interesting flow make this an excellent drill track. Stay tuned for more from Mar Finesse throughout 2020.

Jug the Illest@jugtheillest

Jug the Illest is an artist born in Chicago and raised in Badlands, North Philly. He first picked up the pen in Philly to help a producer friend of his start selling his beats. From there he was hooked and began developing his sound – including his signature New York raspy voice. He quickly went on to create his first album, Godsent, which dropped in March of 2016. One of the highlights of his career thus far was when he got the opportunity to open for Cardi B in 2018. Jug also cofounded an independent label, AshGods Music – an acronym for Always Stay Humble. His second project, Channels and ChicksOstick, dropped in 2019 – with standout tracks “Kickback Shorty” and “Channels.” His latest release, “Super Halitosis,” featuring Lyphe & ShowRock is a hard-hitting throwback to the boom-bap era. Jug is planning the release of his new project From Philly to Little Italy – expected any day now so keep your eyes out.

RahSauce!@salsalito

RahSauce! Is an eclectic, freethinking young artist out of NYC with a distinct and exciting sound. His first drop was in 2018, and catchy scammer-crypto track called “Load up the Bit.” RahSauce! formally introduced listeners to his unique and varied sound early this year with his first project, Freethinker! EP.  Songs like “Fuck!” showcase an aggressive rap-punk style that earns it’s “!” with a half-shouting-half-chanting-flow that could only be inspired by the likes of XXXTentacion and Skimask the Slumpgod. Other songs, like “No Lean” or “In The Spot” take a softer, autotuned approach reminiscent of a Playboi Carti flow. RahSauce! approaches both styles with his own captivating flair and eccentric production that keeps listeners engaged. Later this year, listeners can expect to see an appearance on MiddleGround’s “Foot in the Door” tape – as well as a deluxe version of the Freethinker! EP. Stay tuned!

Leash Da Beaast @beaastonthebeat

Brooklyn-bred artist Leash Da Beaast started making music as a music producer when she was 14. She embarked on her journey as an artist in 2017 when she released her first self-produced single “FEELIN AA WAYY”. It was also at this time she established her brand “B.E.A.A.S.T (Be Everyone’s Aspiration And Stay True). Leash gained inspiration as a music producer and artist listening to Timbaland, Missy Elliot, and Queen Latifah. Coining herself a “Jane of all trades,” Leash is not only a rapper, singer, music producer and engineer, but an accomplished videographer. She has worked with the likes of Mama Jones (Love & Hip-Hop NY), Lady Luck, and Bronx rapper, Chris Rivers. Leash’s music transcends genres and touches on a range of topics, from empowerment of black women on “BBQ” – to the slightly more scandalous on “ADSR”. Both singles are available on all streaming platforms. Leash Da Beaast is currently working on her debut album Quarantine Purge, set to release on August 16th.

Sin Dripavelli @sindripavelli

Sin Dripavelli is a talented new 26-year-old artist out of Brooklyn. In July, Sin dropped a moving tribute to George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter Movement titled “I Can’t Breathe.” The track is meant to highlight his experiences with police brutality and the harsh realities of systemic racism. Moved by the renewed outcry against racism over the last month, Sin felt an obligation to contribute his perspective on the matter with “I Can’t Breathe.” Earlier this year, he also dropped the drill-inspired track, “Designer.” Up next for Sin Dripavelli is a new EP dropping soon, titled Destined 4 Greatness. On it, he plans to show off his unique sound and explain the greatness for which he is destined. Stay tuned for more from Sin Dripavelli.
