Alex Frew Releases New Single “Antisocial Love Song”

Next up for Alex Frew is his second single “Antisocial Love Song.” Partly inspired by the 2020 quarantine and the breakout of emotions after being cooped up for so long. Fighting between wanting to be alone yet wanting to be in love, “Antisocial Love Song” depicts where Alex Frew is now and transparency with how he is feeling.

Alex Frew says of the release:

“This song is very important to me. It took on a new meaning after this global pandemic occurred. It wears its pop music qualities on its sleeve, but it touches on the difficulty of being alone and finding connections with others – a feeling which has only been amplified by the world’s current situation. I can’t wait to release it.”

Alex Frew’s breakout release “Get Out Alive” established his arrival, with pop influenced ballads fueled by honest emotions and teenage angst heard passionately on his debut track. Alex Frew’s singer-songwriter abilities has steadily welcomed a host of new fans who can’t help but relate to his honest expression of feelings that are all too familiar. “Feelings on love lost, emotions still being processed and the uncertainty that comes with navigating each desire, backed by soothing and captivating vocals – Alex Frew’s first release begs you to feel,” writes The Prelude Press.

Alex Frew will be performing “Antisocial Love Song” and “Get Out Alive” at Toronto’s Urban Outfitters on Queen Street West on September 19th.
