WILLIE GEIST: So, what’s it been like to make music under these strange and different circumstances?

DJ KHALED: It’s been challenging, but I work the best when it’s challenging. You know what I’m saying? With today’s technology, you know, I could facetime somebody, Zoom somebody and it’s going back and forth with ideas. It’s not the same. The stadiums are not open. The club is not open. You know? So, you can’t feel certain energies that you’re used to when you drop music. You know, believe it or not, the people want that music because on my project I want to bring the light through these hard times and these dark times.
