Mazayah Legend Andrews, What the Owner of Vakarui Paris Says About Success

For decades, people have been in search of the secrets to success. Ideas, thoughts, tales and fables have been passed down to generations over the course to help each individual take cues as to what the real key behind success might be. While each person has different perspectives on how success can be achieved, the one factor that remains constant in almost every equation is hard work.

Agreed, passion, motivation, courage, and determination, each contribute to success equally as much, but there would be no success if the person did not work hard to fulfill the goals that he has set for himself. From well-known celebrities to business personalities, success never falls at one’s feet; everyone has to put in efforts and prove their worth.

One of the most prominent personalities who not only understand the true meaning of success but has also made sure that every effort paid off is Mazayah Legend Andrews. Passionate, patient and persevering, Mazayah started as a football player but eventually understood where his true calling lay and is today recognized as one of the most successful fashion entrepreneurs.

Born on 14 October 1984, Mazayah Legend, the son of Cynthia Barber and Marvin Andrews, grew up in Boynton Beach, Florida. A student at Sacramento City College, Mazayah was always a bright student. He majored in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

While Mazayah was still young, he developed a fondness for football, which then became a passion as he decided to be known across the world for his exceptional skills in the field. One of the biggest reasons why the young boy was so deflected toward the sport was because of the football celebrity influence he was under.

Mazayah Legend Andrews is the cousin of Tiki Barber, former New York Giants running back, Ronde Barber, Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback, and Brad Banks, former American football quarterback. He is a relative of Ron Meeks, who is the former gridiron football player and coach. Of course, being surrounded by such big football personalities ultimately contributed to him being even more interested in the sport.  In 2005, Mazayah played for coach Mike during which he recorded 52 tackles, 16 Pass breakups. He even recovered two fumbles and forced another two.

Mazayah also played for coach Floyd at Boynton Beach High School, where he participated in the All-American All-Star game. He was named to the Eastern Conference team, and in 2013, he earned All-America honors as a freshman and led the state in kick-off returns.

Realizing that he did not just love the game, he was also really good at it, Mazayah’s passion for football grew even more. However, Mazayah was also aware that for working his way to the top, he required a whole lot of hard work and dedication. This was when he redirected his efforts from football to entrepreneurial ship.

Shifting from football to starting up a business was quite tough. Immediately after Mazayah gave up his football career, he started working on setting up his brand. Things were quite difficult, and at one point, he had to stay in $20-hotels with his mother. But he was not ready to quit on something that he had just started, and so, he was only motivated to work harder.

Mazayah initiated the idea for his company, Vakarui Paris in 2015, which started with a one-of-a-kind limited-edition shoe concept. Mazayah was the designer of the shoe, and he chose Italy, one of the hottest destinations for footwear, for the manufacturing of the Vakarui Paris’ shoe collection. The shoes by his brand are handcrafted in Italy using high-quality materials.

Mazayah’s luck changed when he met the director of Stonecrest Mall. Mazayah shared his designs and his shoe concept with him, and the director couldn’t help but be impressed by his idea. He offered Mazayah to open his store at the mall. This was the first step that Mazayah had climbed on the ladder of success.

Mazayah’s brand quickly gained recognition across the city, which led the entrepreneur to open the brand’s second branch in Atlanta. The store was opened opposite to the Lenox mall. Vakarui Paris that started with just two models has been featured in two high-profile fashion shows that took place in Atlanta and Miami.

Even though Mazayah’s brand started off with just shoes, today, Vakarui Paris has an entire clothing line. With its headquarters in Hallandale, the company operates through its social media business page and has a brand in Paris as well.

Mazayah serves as the CEO of the company, while Shann is the district manager and a designer. Shann is one of Mazayah closest friends who has been with him since the beginning of the company. She helped Mazayah with the original Vakarui shoes and serves today as the marketing manager and the director of the company.

Mazayah’s efforts and determination have not only helped him achieve success; he has also attained everything that he dreamed of. Not only has he purchased a house and a car, but he has also achieved a net worth of $2.1 million. His hard work and efforts are proof that his success in the industry is well-deserved!
