Make it a Historic Holiday Season at Hotel Boulderado

For 111 years, Hotel Boulderado has been celebrating the holiday season in grandeur with sparkling events and irresistible menus. For 2020, the historic property has updated their holiday traditions to keep both staff and guests safe. To bring a little holiday cheer to the community, Hotel Boulderado is unveiling exciting (and safe) ways to celebrate the holidays safely with loved ones.

Hotel Boulderado will transition into Italian Christmas with the arrival of the new restaurant pop-up, Trattoria di Boulderado, on the historic mezzanine. Those visiting will have the opportunity to make new holiday traditions from savoring delicious meals on property to taking photos in front of the Christmas tree. The hotel lobby will begin to sparkle a little earlier this year with the arrival of the famous 28-foot white pine Christmas tree on November 16th, which will remain until the New Year. Holiday Charm hotel package

Experience the magical holiday season with the Holiday Charm package featuring one night of luxury accommodations, hot cocoa for two from Spruce Farm & Fish (or a hot beverage of your choice), and a $50 Downtown Boulder gift card. Holiday Teas

The Holiday Teas are back this year on the historic Hotel Boulderado mezzanine. Guests can enjoy a Boulderado holiday tradition with a delicious menu, while overlooking the hotel lobby and beautiful Christmas tree under the hotel’s famous renovated stained-glass canopy ceiling. The classic Boulderado Tea, for $35 per person (Children’s Tea available), includes pastries and sandwiches served with a choice of tea or hot chocolate. Guests 21 and over can add a little bubbly to their afternoon with Kir Royal or a glass of Prosecco. Tea service is available from 1pm – 3pm from December 4 – December 6, December 11 – December 13, and December 18 – December 20. Christmas

Christmas Day is a beautiful time to be at Hotel Boulderado, with sparkling decorations, a 28-foot Christmas Tree in the lobby, and delicious aromas wafting from the kitchens. Guests have multiple options to enjoy a traditional Christmas meal at Hotel Boulderado, or skip the cooking and order takeout. Spruce Farm & Fish will have a limited regular menu with holiday specials from 7am – 10am and 11am – 8pm. The Corner Bar has relaxed holiday fare with seasonal favorites available from 11am – 8pm. Guests can enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner on the mezzanine overlooking the Christmas Tree through the new Italian restaurant pop-up, Trattoria di Boulderado, from 4pm – 8pm. A hot and fresh takeout Christmas dinner is available for curbside pick-up through the Pine Street Patio. Since joining Hotel Boulderado, Executive Chef Mike Thom has overseen the transition to fall/winter menus in Spruce Farm & Fish and The Corner Bar, plus the opening of the new restaurant pop-up, Trattoria di Boulderado. The flavors of the autumn/winter season are brought alive with new seasonal dishes using local ingredients whenever possible, from the mouthwatering Chile Lime Shrimp Cocktail featuring large white Gulf shrimp, Southwest cocktail sauce, and house-cut tortilla crisps, to the juicy Bison Reuben with Colorado bison corned beef brisket, Gruyere cheese, marble rye bread, house sauerkraut, and 1000 Island, to the healthy Autumn Pesto Pasta with seasonal vegetables, sage and walnut pesto, white wine, cavatappi, and parmesan. Trattoria di Boulderado

Hotel Boulderado welcomes a new restaurant pop-up to the mezzanine. The new Trattoria di Boulderado, open every week from Wednesday – Saturday from 5pm – 9pm, brings friends and family together through classic and romantic Italian cuisine expertly paired with a flavorful cocktail and wine menu. Get a taste of Italy without ever leaving Boulder, Colorado through Trattoria di Boulderado’s authentic Italian menu. Vegetarian and meat lovers alike will find new favorite dishes from the Antipasti with Butternut Squash Arancini with Arborio rice, roasted butternut squash, green onion, and chimichurri or the Italian Fried Calamari with shaved pepperoncini, marinara dipping sauce, and corn and rice flour. Make it an Italian feast with Flatbreads, entrée salads, specialties, and pasta including classics such as Chicken Parmesan, Veal Osso Bucco, Cioppino Cavatelli, and Spaghetti & Meatballs.
