15 New-Ish Healthy, Fun And/Or Delicious Food & Drink Discoveries You Can Order Online Today

With everything happening in the world, there is still a lot of uncertainty going around. But everyone needs to eat, and there is no shortage of exciting food and drink offerings to order online. If you are searching for new food discoveries, you’ve come to the right place as I have been monitoring the latest and greatest from online retailers. Here are 15 recommendations available for ordering today.

Youtheory

Youtheory Immune+ Daily Wellness combines 6 organic mushroom extracts with a unique strain of baker’s yeast to support a healthy immune system. This daily wellness formula primes immune cells to support and maintain the body’s natural protective responses. Meanwhile, Youtheory’s collagen powder is made from hydrolyzed collagen peptides, as intended to restore collagen levels depleted by stress and help reduce the accompanying fine lines, wrinkles and joint pain. Said collagen product also provides vitamin C, which is clinically proven to support our immune system. Youtheory has great products for all ages, genders and nutritional needs.

Cask & Kettle

Cask & Kettle is an easy and convenient way for anyone to prepare and serve a complete, well-crafted hot cocktail. Simply pop one of the single serve cups into your brewing system and a smooth, aromatic hot cocktail is ready in seconds. My personal favorite from the brand is the Mint Patty Coffee, which offers a bright, crisp taste of vodka and mint, as blended into dark roast coffee with a touch of dark chocolate. Also fantastic is Cask & Kettle’s Irish Coffee offering, which pairs the aroma of smoky Irish-style whiskey and the welcoming allure of dark roasted beans and buttery caramel. 75 proof on the Mint Patty Coffee and 76 proof on the Irish Coffee, which works just fine for me.

Ayoba Biltong

Ayoba Bilton is crated with fine cuts of grass-fed beef, as spiced through an authentic South African family recipe, then marinated and air-dried for up to 14 days. The end-results is a tender slice of beef that is free of sugar and additives while higher in protein than your average jerky. The brand’s Limited Release Rosemary Truffle flavor has plenty of people talking.

Zellee Organics

Zellee Organic’s sports jel is reportedly the first and only organic, plant-based, electrolyte-fueled jel on the market. Made with organic fruit and full-spectrum ionic trace minerals, it aims to increase stamina and energy while reducing muscle cramps. Available flavors include Orange Peach, Blueberry Grape and Strawberry Pear, while “no added sugar” offerings including Hawaiian Tropic Twist and Aloha Raspberry Lemonade.

Designer Protein

Designer Protein has formulated its legacy protein powder into high-protein, low-sugar, all-natural, 85 percent dark cacao-filled chocolate bars. Deliciously definitely, these better-for-you bars not only offer needed nutrition but also taste great. Presently 20 percent off on online orders is being offered to new customers who sign up for text alerts from Designer Protein.

Impact Snacks

Billed as “snack for change,” Impact Snacks’ bars are full of ethically-sourced, 100 percent whole food functional ingredients, including kale, maca root, lion’s mane, monk fruit, pea protein, almons, cocoa and Stevia. Each bar ought to provide 10 grams of protein through balanced macronutrients. In turn, these bars are good for you and the planet alike; the wrappers of the bars are 100 percent biodegradable.

nuJo

nuJo is a roasted root brew and prebiotic superfood made from 100 percent organic ingredients. In turn, 6 superfoods within nuJo combine to deliver a serious health boost intended to nourish your mind, body and soul. Its simple yet refined flavor profile is 100 percent caffeine-free and gluten-free, while still offering a soothing, full-mouth feel and mellow flavoring. nuJo, per its social media accounts, is aiming to “change the world one cup at a time.”

UNION

UNION makes uniquely-modern Charcuterie Crisps that bring together chartcuterie and an awareness of where food comes from in a snack that is both savory and crispy. These UNION Charcuterie Crisps are full of flavor and can actually find their way onto a charcuterie board without any eyebrow-raising. With 11 to 13 grams of protein — and no carbs — per serving, they also double as a crave-worthy protein snack. Especially great for those of us looking to start 2021 with a low-carb life-change.

BRÈINFÚEL

Developed by Dr. Gerald Horn, a Lasik surgeon with a background in pharmaceutical science and disruptive drug development, BRÈINFÚEL combines highly-researched ingredients with an extended release that is designed to support performance and wellbeing. BRÈINFÚEL is sold online and comes in 4 delicious flavors, including Thrive Ice, Victory Bliss, Alpha Punch and Limitless Berry. Each bottle of BRÈINFÚEL features a proprietary blend of effective ingredients, including natural caffeine from GCBE and green tea (along with their extracts), D-ribose sugar, collagen protein, MCT’s, vitamin C, vitamin E, beet root, L-theanine, creatine, and zinc. In other words, in the brand’s own words, “a celebral beverage.”

Golden Ratio Coffee

Austin, Texas-based founder Clark Nowlin launched Golden Radio Coffee this year after he developed a unique, proprietary roasting method with some local coffee experts. Golden Ratio Coffee is made by roasting low and slow, to give beans without the burn to yield a cup that is highly-caffeinated but low on acidity and bitterness. It ultimately drinks more like tea but with more caffeine, and without the stomachache that many get from coffee. The roasts are sourced from 3 distinct and ethically-run, single-origin bean producers in Nicaragua, Brazil and Ethiopia, and are available in eco-friendly, tea-like sachets for the easiest, most versatile preparation in mind, with no extra equipment needed.

The Pickle Juice Company’s Pickle Juice

Last but definitely not least, The Pickle Juice Company is a leading sports beverage company that has transformed the way muscle cramping is treated with its functional and USDA Organic formula. Its bottled Pickle Juice is free of allergens, gluten and sugar, and is loaded with up to 14 times more electrolytes than the average sports drink. The drink also aims the engage the same neurological receptors in the brain that causes cramps and stops them, reportedly quicker than anything else on the market today. In turn, this can mean no longer experiencing cramps during exercise, laborious jobs, sleep or pregnancy. Science aside, Pickle Juice tastes exactly like the name implies while carrying a long shelf-life and not requiring refrigeration. Healthy, tasty — assuming you like the taste of pickles — and easy.

Bourbon Brothers’ Meals

If you are seeking a restaurant-style meal that you can whip up in minutes, Bourbon Brothers has some excellent offerings worth knowing about. Bourbon Brothers recently launches a series of southern-inspired premium protein-centric, classic recipes which I recommend, including Smoked Chicken Chile Verde, Chicken Marsala, and Smoked Pulled Pork offerings. Don’t let the “microwaveable” convenience fool you, Bourbon Brothers takes pride in its approach to small-batch cooking and quality-oriented ingredients. For example, the pork within its entrees are smoked for a traditional 13 hours using real hickory wood, and its all-natural chicken is roasted in the same high-humidity ovens used by gourmet chefs. There is no catch, as far as I can tell.

Ketel One Vodka

Previously I have had the pleasure of trying — and subsequently coveirng — both Ketel One’s Arnold Palmer Collector’s Edition Bottle and its Cocktail Courier kits. Well, for those not celebrating a “dry January,” January 1st is not only New Year’s Day but also National Bloody Mary Day. In honor of the latter holiday, Ketel One has a Bloody Mary recipe worth checking out on its website, which you can find here along with other great original recipes.

Health-Ade Kombucha

If a “Dry January” is more your speed, Health-Ade Plus is a new adaptogen line from fan-favorite beverage brand Health-Ade. Health-Ade Plus combines the bubbly probiotic-filled goodness of classic kombucha enhanced with additional functional ingredients for an extra feel-good boost. It comes in 7 flavors: Beauty, Belly Reset, Chill, Energy, Happy, Hydrate and Immunity. In turn, there is a beverage for every mood, and you can enjoy on its own or mixed into a recipe. Health-Ade Plus is available at Health-Ade.com and Whole Foods Market at $46.80 per 12-pack or $4.29 per bottle.

Stryve Biltong Jerky

Strive makes air-dried, beef, keto-friendly jerky without the junk. Beyond offering 15 percent on the first order you place via its website, Stryve also currently has a “buy 1 get 1” online promotion on mini stick purchases. For those not yet on the biltong train, Stryve’s offerings are packed with protein, gluten-free and free of both nitrates and preservatives. As Stryve has said about its own products, which I certainly agree with: “snacking as it should be.”

Sipp Organic Seltzer

Sipp is reportedly on a mission to clean up the soda aisle with a better-for-you, 100 percent organic seltzer-that is low in calories, high in taste and made with exclusively clean, all natural ingredients. As the first Camu Camu — a tart, cherry-like superfruit packed with a health-enhancing crew of free-radical assassins, including Vitamin C — beverage, Sipp celebrates this powerhouse superfruit by infusing it into every 12-ounce can along with a boost of all natural energy from green coffee beans. In turn, each can gives you 100mg camu camu and 50mg caffeine with just 40 calories and 9 grams of all-natural sugar. In turn, Sipp is USDA-certified organic, non-GMO, all natural and agave-sweetened. Sipp is available on Amazon, and in 2021 it will rollout to retailers in the Tri-State area; Sipp retails for $25 for a 12-pack.

Truffolie Chocolate

Created by ceramicist-turned-chocolatier Wendy-Dawn, Truffolie’s one-of-a-kind, Caribbean-inspired confections are ideal for holiday gifting, with shipping nationwide and across the globe; since 2016, Truffolie has also been partnering with brands such as West Elm to sell its creations. Notably featured in The New York Times, Truffolie offers handmade chocolates and spreads — including an incredible Chocolate Hazelnut spread with ginger called Choco-Haze — made with no additives or preservatives, such as soy or GMOs, with high-quality ingredients. This includes a signature 70 percent chocolate base that’s high in antioxidants, probiotics and flavonoids. New this holiday season, the Benni is a white chocolate with Truffolie’s signature nut blend of cashews, almonds, and honey, dressed in crushed pistachios. Truffolie ships all over the U.S. and internationally. with pricing ranging from a box of 4 for $12.00 to a box of 24 for $69.00.

Drunken Cake Pops

Last but definitely not least… BuzzBallz is a woman-owned and family-operated Texas distillery, winery and brewery founded in 2009 as the result of Merrilee Kick’s master’s degree thesis project. In a little more than 10 years, BuzzBallz has greatly expanded its product base and begun to grow into a worldwide brand. As the only combined distillery, winery and brewery in the U.S. that is woman-owned, this company has gained significant recognition, boasting distribution in 47 states, several countries abroad and growing.

Drunken Cake Pops is a woman-owned boutique bakery born of stress from 9 to 5’s and a passion for food and alcohol. Founders Sara Aleman and Zoila Navales began their journey as entrepreneurs with $300 and plenty of ambition to make Drunken Cake Pops grow. Today, the 2 entrepreneurs are operating a bustling, boutique bakery in Rancho Cucamonga, California, creating a variety of artisanal confections. The 2 continue to grow their business, working with numerous alcohol brands to collaborate on exclusive confections and innovating their core menu options.

Just in time for the holidays, BuzzBallz and Drunken Cake Pops have collaborated to create ideal boozy stocking stuffers. The BuzzBallz X Drunken Cake Pops 6 Pack includes 6 cake pops expertly-infused with various flavors of BuzzBallz cocktails. Each pack includes 2 of each of the following cake pops: Buzzin’ Piña Colada (a coconut cake infused with BuzzBallz Lotta Colada and coconut rum), Tequila ‘Rita (a tart lime cake infused with BuzzBallz Tequila ‘Rita and more tequila) and Dirty Horchata (a chocolate cinnamon cake infused with both BuzzBallz Choc Tease and BuzzBallz Horchata, plus more vodka). Delicious, satisfying and escapism all at once.
