0Adrienne Wilkinson On Her New Film “Dreamcatcher,” Working Steadily For Decades, Plans & More
The new movie Dreamcatcher stars Niki Koss (Famous In Love), Zachary Gordon (Diary Of A Wimpy Kid franchise, Good Trouble), Travis Burns (Neighbours, Sunrise In Heaven), Blaine Kern III (=Happy Death Day franchise) Olivia Sui (Smosh), Emrhys Cooper (Mamma Mia!), Elizabeth Posey (”Euphoria”), Nazanin Mandi (“How to Make a Reality Star”), Adrienne Wilkinson (Star Trek: Renegades) and Lou Ferrigno Jr. (S.W.A.T., 9-1-1). The film was directed and written by Jacob Johnston (The Look-See, Sunny Family Cult), marking Johnston’s feature directorial and also his screenwriting debut.
Within Dreamcatcher, Dylan — known to his fans as DJ Dreamcatcher — is on the brink of global stardom. Everything changes on the night of Cataclysm, an underground music festival, where 2 estranged sisters and their friends meet Dylan. After a drug fueled gruesome event, things begin to spiral into a 48-hour whirlwind of violence and mayhem; more of that is shown below in the trailer.
The aforementioned Adrienne Wilkinson first made an international impact playing Eve, the daughter of Xena within the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess. Following that, Wilkinson would appear as part of plenty of other acclaimed television programs, including Angel, Charmed, ER and Star Trek: Renegades. A contributor of voice-acting to Star Wars: Rebels, Wilkinson is one of the few performers to have work within both the Star Trek and Star Wars universes. She has also found success beyond acting as a producer and podcaster, steadily working in entertainment for decades.
