Kelly Rowland New EP, Beautifully Titled K, Set For Release on February 19 “Black Magic,” Single and Video, Available Now on All Platforms

A day after celebrating a milestone birthday, Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, television producer and now first-time fashion designer, Kelly Rowland, releases “Black Magic,” from her aptly-named EP, K . The single and video are available now, on all platforms.

Kelly has been steadily and successfully releasing music throughout 2020 to rave reviews, including “Coffee,” which celebrated the majestic beauty of melanin on melanin, “Crazy,” which was the global campaign song for her debut collection with Just Fab and “Hitman,” which was the NFL song of the season for all of November and December. Kelly continues her partnership with Just Fab with her first designed collection that launches on March 1st.

With the EP, K, Kelly delivers a thoroughly joyful mixture of songs that pushes you to dance and live out loudly in these urgent times.

And it will be a busy release season for Kelly as a follow-up single, “Flowers,” a celebratory gem, of those you love, wrapped in her warm, emotional vocal delivery, is scheduled for release, along with the EP, on February 19th .

Kelly on “Black Magic”

’Black Magic” expresses everything there is to feel confident, feel proud of, feel encouraged by being Black. I am really excited that it’s coming now which is in the thick of Black History Month. To me, I feel like we should be celebrating 365 days a year from what we’ve been through to what we continue to fight for when it comes to equal rights, and justice. To me this is a fight song. We’re continuing to put our magic forth so that we can put it on display for others to continue to see, even when they don’t want to see it. Bu I think they can’t help but see it because Black magic is effortless.”

Kelly on “Flowers”

” As soon as I heard ‘Flowers’ there was something about it that made my heart pour out of my chest. I think that it was so many things. I was thinking about my mother, and I was thinking about people who I know personally who I probably don’t acknowledge enough. It was making sure I remember. After recording this, I called those people that I absolutely love and are close to and I told them how I felt about them. Oftentimes we hear so many people say, you don’t want to give people their flowers once they’re gone. That is one way of saying it, but you just want to tell people how you feel about them, how much you appreciate them, how much you love them.
