Lou Ferrigno Jr. On His New Movie “Dreamcatcher,” Upcoming Plans, Acting Training, Lou Sr. & More

The new movie Dreamcatcher stars Niki Koss (Famous In Love), Zachary Gordon (Diary Of A Wimpy Kid franchise, Good Trouble), Travis Burns (Neighbours, Sunrise In Heaven), Blaine Kern III (=Happy Death Day franchise) Olivia Sui (Smosh), Emrhys Cooper (Mamma Mia!), Elizabeth Posey (”Euphoria”), Nazanin Mandi (“How to Make a Reality Star”), Adrienne Wilkinson (Star Trek: Renegades) and Lou Ferrigno Jr. (S.W.A.T., 9-1-1). The film was directed and written by Jacob Johnston (The Look-See, Sunny Family Cult), marking Johnston’s feature directorial and also his screenwriting debut.

Within Dreamcatcher, Dylan — known to his fans as DJ Dreamcatcher — is on the brink of global stardom. Everything changes on the night of Cataclysm, an underground music festival, where 2 estranged sisters and their friends meet Dylan. After a drug fueled gruesome event, things begin to spiral into a 48-hour whirlwind of violence and mayhem; more of that is shown below in the trailer.

The aforementioned Lou Ferrigno Jr. has worked steadily as an actor in both dramatic and comedic roles. Upon graduating from USC’s Annenberg School for Communication, Ferrigno began studying improvisational comedy at Improv Olympic, Upright Citizens Brigade and the West Side Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles. Before long he would land plenty of national commercial spots. And all of that goes without getting into depth about Ferrigno’s collegiate athletic career or work as a fitness model.

On March 2, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Lou Ferrigno Jr. via Zoom, as embedded below. We spoke about Dreamcatcher — which hits on-demand and digital outlets on March 5, 2021 — and plenty more. Additional information about Ferrigno is online at www.twitter.com/louferrignojr, www.instagram.com/louferrignojr and www.louferrignojr.com, while more on Dreamcatcher can be found via Apple’s download portal and www.samuelgoldwynfilms.com/dreamcatcher/.
