OPEPC Brings Together Producers To Chart A New Course In The Music Industry

OPEPC Brings Together Producers To Chart A New Course In The Music Industry

New community and professional development platform, OPEPC, set to challenge the status quo in the music industry and help hundreds of music producers to launch and grow their careers.

The revolutionary OPEPC movement aims to build a community of music producers across all genres to serve the growing creative musical needs of recording artists, songwriters, music supervisors, and music tastemakers. In a related development, the coalition seeks to empower music producers with access to a plethora of resources to help them earn additional residual income and reach the highest echelon of their career.

Music producers remain important to the development of the industry, helping to create smashing beats that actually bring out the hits in every song. Over the years, several talented producers have emerged, with thousands more looking to become successful in their chosen path. Unfortunately, thousands of producers worldwide are still seemingly handicapped due to a relative difficulty in accessing resources to compete on the global stage. However, a team of forward-thinking stakeholders in the entertainment industry Latausha Taylor as known as Mrs. Checkplease and Jameelah Just Jay Wilkerson look to change this narrative with the launch of OPEPC.

Latausha Taylor says “I created the OPEPC to bring together my network and build a community of strategic partnerships amongst Music Producers, Tastemakers, and Music Creators. In addition, I feel that producers play such a critical role in the creative musical process but are often overshadowed by the artists they produce for and want to play a part in creating more superstar Producers. More importantly, Covid-19 made it imperative that I explore new ways to scale the On Point Entertainment brand.” – Founder of OPEPC.

Latausha Taylor also thought it was a great idea to bring in industry heavyweight Jameelah Just Jay Wilkerson. Latausha Taylor says “I chose to partner with Just Jay because of our long-term friendship and partnership of over 20 years. We’ve collaborated on many ventures in the past and have mutual respect for each other’s ideas, goals, skill sets, and brands. In addition, Just Jay has dominated the media industry and mastered the art of digital marketing, project management and branding amongst other things. Together, we will be able to accelerate the process of bringing the Coalition to market and maintain its branding message to ensure the longevity of the brand.”

The launch of the movement is particularly timely, considering the effect of the pandemic on the music industry. The coalition aims to ensure that producers get the benefits of the business side of music. It also aims to create a movement that provides a systematic way of handling the copyrights and publishing paperwork for tracks purchased on the platform.
