“The Big LG” Doc Gallows On IMPACT Wrestling’s “Rebellion” PPV, Non-IMPACT Projects & More

IMPACT Wrestling has started off 2021 strong, and that hype continues with April 25th’s Rebellion pay-per-view. IMPACT’s next pay-per-view is set to make history as All Elite Wrestling’s World Champion Kenny Omega will be taking on IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann in a “Title Vs. Title” match, as featuring commentary from Mauro Ranallo. Meanwhile, IMPACT itself — which airs on Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CST, as preceded by the Before The Impact program and followed by the IMPACT In 60 program — is regularly the highest-rated show on the AXS TV network.

Another big match on the Rebellion card is the Impact World Tag Team Championship match between champions FinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson) and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson). The Good Brothers made their IMPACT Wrestling debut in July 2020, quickly capturing IMPACT’s tag team title belts. Yet that is far from the only thing that Gallows and Anderson have been up to in 2020 or 2021, as the last 12 months have also seen Gallows and/or Anderson produce 2 successful wrestling pay-per-views (Talk’N Shop A Mania, host a popular podcast (Talk’N Shop), be part of a key cross-promotional AEW storyline, launch a craft beer, and host programs on AXS TV. All while producing some not-yet-released (e.g. a Good Brothers cartoon) and not-yet-announced projects.

On April 19, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Doc Gallows via Zoom, the video of which embedded below. Beyond Rebellion and his current pursuit as IMPACT Wrestling’s Tag Team Championships, Gallows and I also discussed non-wrestling projects, work ethic, career goals, being part of the infamous Legends Of Wrestling show at Citi Field, and plenty more. Additional information on Gallows, The Good Brothers and Rebellion can be found here, here, here and here.
