42 Dugg Releases ‘Free Dem Boyz’ Project With Guest Appearances from Future, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, Rowdy Rebel, EST Gee and Fivio Foreign

42 Dugg announced the release of his new project, Free Dem Boyz, that includes star-studded collaborations with Future, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, EST Gee, Rowdy Rebel and Fivio Foreign.

The 19-track project features standout single “4 Da Gang (feat. Roddy Ricch),” which samples German Rock Band Scorpion’s 1982 classic hit, “No One Like You,” as well as previously-released songs dedicated to his incarcerated friends such as “Free Merey,” “Free Woo” and “Free Me.”

The new release also comes on the week that Billboard named the budding Detroit rapper the R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month for May.

Free Dem Boyz is Dugg’s first project since the March 2020 release of his acclaimed Young & Turnt 2 project, which marked his debut on the Billboard 200 chart and peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Independent Album chart.

Since Y&T2, Dugg has blossomed into one of hip-hop’s rising stars with his gritty lyrics, fluid flow and trademark whistle. Over the past year, Dugg has continued to deliver a combination of explosive verses and introspective bars in his featured appearances alongside Meek Mill, Big Sean, Marshmello, T.I., Blac Youngsta and Mulatto, among countless others.
