Adam Bartley On His New Film “Honesty Weekend,” Working On “Longmire” And “This Is Us,” Future Projects & Plenty More

Honesty Weekend is the latest film from writer/director Leslie Thomas, a relationship comedy distributed by Vision Films Inc. which is set to hit Amazon Prime and all key TVOD platform on May 16, 2021. At the heart of this thoroughly modern relationship comedy is a young marriage in trouble and a diverse group of close friends struggling to embrace intimacy and true adulthood. Primarily filmed over 10 days in a country house, the grounded ensemble keeps it real, and sometimes raunchy, as they grapple with a myriad of issues including sex, body image, infidelity, long-held secrets and the growing pains of evolving friendships. The movie stars the incredible Adam Bartley (This Is Us), Sabina Gadecki (L.A.’s Finest), Natalie Ceballos (NCIS: Los Angeles), Dioni Michelle Collins (General Hospital), Pete Ploszek (Captain Marvel), Evan Watkins (CollegeHumor Originals), Allan Wasserman (Big), Lorraine Pascale (Robbie Williams: Millenium), and Susan Walters (The Vampire Diaries).

The aforementioned Adam Bartley is someone you have likely seen in a variety of projects. Besides the above-mentioned This Is Us, he was on Longmire for 6 seasons, and has appeared on The Magicians, NCIS: Los Angeles, Call Me Kat and All Rise. Prior to moving to Los Angeles in 2010 and finding success as a steadily-working actor, Bartley had taught acting and directed. Talented beyond the stage and screen, Bartley is also a professional singer, currently hatching plans to make an album.

On May 11, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Adam Bartley about Honesty Weekend, career goals and plenty more. Additional information on Bartley is here, here, here and here.
