IMPACT Wrestling Star Eddie Edwards On “Under Siege,” Future Career Goals, Wife Alisha & More

IMPACT Wrestling has started off 2021 strong, most recently making headlines with last month’s Rebellion pay-per-view. IMPACT’s next big televised event will be Under Siege on May 15, 2021, as airing via the IMPACT Plus! network. Meanwhile, IMPACT Wrestling itself — which airs on Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CST, as preceded by the Before The Impact program and followed by the IMPACT In 60 program — is regularly the highest-rated show on the AXS TV network.

Eddie Edwards is a former 2-time IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, a 2-time X-Division Champion, a 5-time Tag Team Champion and the first ever winner of the Call Your Shot Trophy. In turn, Edwards is easily one of IMPACT’s most decorated wrestlers of all time. Starting his career with IMPACT Wrestling in 2014, Edwards has been sure to prove his perseverance as he embraces the phrase “Anything Is Possible.” And he will be part of a big match as part of Under Siege, wrestling alongside the team of FinJuice as they take on Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers in a 6-man match.

On May 7, 2021, I had the pleasure of interviewing Eddie Edwards, this time via Zoom and embedded below. Besides Under Siege, we talked about his wife (fellow IMPACT talent) Alisha, what he still hopes to accomplish as a wrestler, and life beyond wrestling. More on Edwards is here, here, here and here.
