Steamrolling ahead at full speed and taking no prisoners, hip hop maverick KILLY unveils a new single and music video entitled “RICK BOOTS” today. Get it HERE at all DSPs and watch the official music video below.

Once again, his airtight bars and unpredictable flows incinerate the FREAKEY!, OMAR GUETFA and A.D. produced beat. The bold chorus is delivered with insatiable passion: “I can’t, I can’t/Keep these voices out my head/Just try to see sh*t through my lens/They turnt they back left me for dead.” The accompanying music video, directed by Dave Tim, continues what has become a tradition of high-octane and high energy visuals for KILLY. It showcases his undeniable star power and otherworldly ferocity.

The track sets the stage for his new mixtape KILLSTREAK 2, coming soon. The project also boasts the incendiary banger “PYRO” and its Remix [feat. Scarlxrd] as well as the WondaGurl produced track, “TRUST NOBODY.” Tracks from KILLSTREAK 2 have already posted up over 2 million YouTube views and 3 million streams prior to release. Spreading excitement for KILLY’s next move, HotNewHipHop raved; “Over the past four years, KILLY has delivered a plethora of hits to his fans and with each project, he only gets better.

KILLY shows no signs of stopping or slowing down, either.  He recently announced a European tour for the Fall of 2021, kicking off September 17 in Madrid, Spain and culminating on October 12 in Hamburg, Germany. ABOUT KILLY:

If alien means belonging elsewhere, perhaps KILLY is someone who belongs everywhere. The shy rockstar finds himself at home in the eclectic and the contradictory, effortlessly pairing petaled shirts and spiked glasses, suturing vulnerable lyrics to heavy, sinister instrumentals. Born in 1997 to Bajan and Filipino parents in Toronto, Khalil Tatem was painted by a mosaic of influences from a young age, from Kanye West to Speaker Knockerz to Tommy Lee Sparta.

During high school, he rooted himself into the community and nurtured “Killamonjaro” for two long years. His ascendance felt lightspeed as he independently released his debut project Surrender Your Soul, garnered multiple platinum and gold singles, and took to the road for a world tour. After two years on the road, he tethered stories across time and space from his journey in his project Light Path 8. This was followed by his connection with Sylvia Rhone, the legendary head of Epic Records, and his new home with the label. With this partnership, he continues to cultivate each track with the same care as “Killamonjaro.” Privileging quality over quantity, he fine-tunes each project with meticulous precision, elusively hinting to fans at what’s to come. Even with numerous accolades to his name, he’s just getting started.

If KILLY is an alien, he’s one who can use his diverse upbringing to weave himself anywhere—one whose legacy is already written in the stars.
