Written by: Julz Mancini

Some artists can recall memories of music that date back to their toddler years. They remember exactly how it felt as they reiterated lyrics to their favorite songs. Lil Twin nostalgically reminisced of car rides with his mother while he rapped in the backseat. As his mother recorded his talent, she was in awe. Lil Twin is a prime example of an individual who was born to create music and share it with the world.

As his passion for music grew, so did the development of his sound. At the age of 8, Lil Twin wrote his first original song. After four years of enhancing his ability to write, he recorded for the first time when he was 12 years old. He made sure to participate in talent shows to introduce his peers to his gift while simultaneously perfecting his stage presence.

The musical inspirations artists have while growing up play a major role in the creation of their unique imprint. Lil Twin listed his favorite rappers as Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Drake, Meek Mill, Future, NWA, Tupac, Biggie, and Too Short. He stated, “Primarily, if the song is good, I like it.” With these prominent celebrities as his go-to motivators, Lil Twin has blossomed into a versatile artist whose presence is now in high demand.

In January of 2020, Lil Twin unveiled “Soufside Hector”, an album that consists of catchy hooks, witty wordplay, mesmerizing delivery, and raw truth. His most recent release is “Woman’s Worth” with the official music video starring Blac Chyna. It is the perfect love song. Lil Twin, not only displays his lyrical ability, but can be heard sweet talking his lady during the track. The visuals are enchanting and filled with romantic gestures such as long walks on the beach, rose petals, and intimate moments between the two. The music video has already accrued over 127 thousand views on YouTube.

Lil Twin is currently working on new music to share with his fans. He is preparing to unleash “Soufside Hector II” and “No Love Lost” in July of this summer. He is striving to become the biggest artist in the game. Lil Twin explained, “I want to be the most influential and recognized for my craft. I come with a message to change the world and bring fun with some thug passion.”

When asked what message he has for artists who are pursuing music, Lil Twin stated, “Don’t ever stop. The moment you stop, is the moment you start over.” He also revealed his secret to success. “The ultimate secret to success is consistency, planning with purpose, and ultimately being myself. If it ain’t for you, it just ain’t for you and eventually you will drift into other directions until you find your passion. It’s kind of hard to find success where there’s no passion.”

Authentic is a great word to describe Lil Twin. Several artists have a fear of the unknown while he embraces it. Actually, that is Lil Twin’s favorite part of being an artist…not knowing when the music is going to take off. At the conclusion of the interview he explained, “It’s like, if I make it or I don’t, I know I’m spending my life doing what I genuinely love.” As the reader can see, this genuine and passionate artist has the “it” factor. He is the entire package. Be sure to follow him on social media, stream his music, and subscribe to his YouTube channel.
