Live Session With Taylor Gang’s Chevy Woods on His Journey, New Music and What’s Coming Next

Chevy Woods is a Taylor Gang OG having been with the crew since pretty much the beginning. His friend Wiz Khalifa gave him the game on the music business and he took off and ran with it. One of the more underrated talents in the industry, Chevy Woods is a strong candidate to come out of the shadows to center stage and capture the attention he deserves with his new offering Mask On which is a showcase of his versatility and creative awareness. The project is a lead-in for his upcoming body of work which is crafted more for the festivals and live performances.

I got to spend some time with him and discuss his journey, the new project and he also took the time to get some things off his chest, especially for detractors who seem to not want to give him the credit he’s earned as an individual artist outside of the sphere of Wiz. Chevy has recorded with Wiz, Snoop Dogg, Post Malone, and more, steadily presenting himself as a force to be reckoned with.

When I first caught wind of Chevy Woods it was in 2015 with the release of his 48 Hunnid Project which wowed me and immediately put him on my one-to-watch list and we’ve watched his trek steadily since then so it was great to catch up with him again for this Live Session…tune in below for the latest conversation!
