0London Artist Skaiwater Collaborator of Lil Nas X Debuts ‘The Blade’ Virtual Performance Video
Just got up on London-based artist Skaiwater (friend and collaborator of Lil Nas X) who just recently debuted his first full-length mixtape “Happy Hour” and weekly virtual performances via Cinematic Music Group. He dropped his next one The Blade out today.
More on the video – “The Blade was based off of my boy Krishu, he’s been forcing pimp culture into my head for years. I knew i had to go stupid for him one time and make a song about the sht he was trying to teach me about. He think he the big boss so I tried to capture that essence in the song. Thank u bro lmfaooo” – states Skaiwater
Skaiwater has released 11 art pieces and a total of 22 NFTs available for auction and exclusive sales on WAX and Treasureland. Check them out HERE. The mixtape is a year and a half in the making and inspired by acid trips, anti-depressants, and dissociation from reality. “As the pandemic came, I more and more felt the need to just make a project that distracts from all of the shit going on,” states Skaiwater
Skaiwater recently debuted the first single off the project, Work! feat Lil Keed, debuted the music video for Emani two weeks ago, dropped a virtual performance video for Thrift Shop a few weeks ago via Youtube, and calls Lil Nas X, a close friend, and collaborator.
