Pastor Jaylon Calhoun Premieres “My Team Rep Jesus” Featuring Christian Hip Hop Artists Eturnul, I.C. Jonez and Mo’Danger

U.S. Army Veteran, Recording Artist, Music Producer and Pastor, Jaylon Calhoun, is using his faith to light the path for others with the upcoming premiere of his new Christian Hip Hop single and music video for “My Team Rep Jesus”. Set to premiere on all digital platforms and YouTube on June 5, 2021, the record features the music talents of artists Eturnul, I. C. Jonez; and Mo D’anger. Pastor Jaylon continues to evolve his style as an artist to serve up powerful messages by seamlessly merging elements of R&B, Soul, EDM, Pop and Hip-Hop.

Pastor Jaylon is bridging the gap between traditional Christians; and the Gen Z and Millennial generations. Regardless of how you believe, all can share the same beliefs in multiple ways. Through his teachings and music, Pastor Jaylon is changing the narrative. “My Team Rep Jesus” is the new anthem for faith goers worldwide. This new single is produced by the talented, Mo D’anger. The production is intense and brings forth vivid vibes for music lovers of all types. The official music video was filmed in Las Vegas and directed by Toni Neshae Williams. His artistic depiction of the team mentality and grit was culturally represented in a major way through the new music video.

It’s no surprise that Pastor Calhoun would also serve as a talented Christian Hip Hop artist. He began singing at age 7 while attending the Malcolm X Performing Arts Academy. At age 14, he began singing in his church choir in his hometown of Richmond, CA. While on the Antioch Church Family choir he helped them to win several notable awards within the Bay Area. The esteemed choir won the “How Sweet The Sound” award for Best Small Choir in the series hosted by famed Gospel great, Donald Lawrence. Pastor Jaylon eventually took his talents to Nevada where he currently hosts his own Gospel Radio Station called The Anointed Radio Network. He continues to receive newsworthy awards for his work in and throughout the community; and the Kingdom.
