MAD TASTY CBD

Founded by GRAMMY-winning musician Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, MAD TASTY is an all-natural, low-calorie beverage with 20 mg of pure broad-spectrum hemp extract. It also happens to be the first non-musical product Tedder has created. As the story goes, the product was created to help Tedder and his peers to relax, hydrate, and boost their creativity. Battling anxiety and panic attacks since 2017, Tedder started using CBD/hemp extract and wanted a way to take it every day without the bitter CBD/hemp taste and he is not alone. Within months of getting into its stores, Chomps became of the fastest-selling snacks at Trader Joe’s. In 2017, with Maldonado still the company’s only full-time employee, Chomps sold nearly $10 million dollars worth of meat snacks. In 2018, Chomps started selling in retailers like Safeway, Albertsons, Fresh Thyme and 7-Eleven while introducing a new turkey variety. All of the company’s meat-based snacks are non-GMO, while the meat itself is additive-free and grass-fed. Its Sea Salt Beef and Italian Style Beef varieties, as unveiled in 2019, are not just paleo by nature but certified to be friendly to those following an autoimmune protocol diet.

In May 2021, Chomps announced the latest flavor to join its lineup, Pepperoni Turkey, a highly-requested combination of 2 Chomps favorites. Monster Energy Rehab

Speaking of energy… I had the pleasure of trying Monster Energy’s Rehab Monster Strawberry Lemonade last week. This one delivers strawberry lemonade-infused electrolytes, vitamins and botanicals, yet is surprisingly non-carbonated, unlike other caffeinated drinks. Beyond seeing Monster Energy’s offerings on shelves everywhere, Monster has been everywhere of late between its tie in with Ice Cube’s Big3 basketball league, UFC fighter Sean O’Malley promoting it at UFC 264, Larkin Poe heading out on a Monster-presented tour, and Natalie Eva Marie recently making her return to WWE.

Also being gluten-free herself, Desch is passionate about bringing artisan, fresh-baked gluten-free options to your family’s dinner table. Adding to its line of plant-powered, super-absorbing, odor-eliminating natural “deos” that work, Amber Woods offers a complexly-rich and simultaneously-soft woodsy scent. The third scent in its line. Hume Supernatural is so confident you will be funk-free in 30 days after using its products that the brand offers a money-back guarantee to its customers. Keep an eye out for Hume Supernatural’s Dry Body Oil Mists, which are set to launch later on August 3, 2021.

Its potato chips are USDA-certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified and certified gluten-free. These 100 percent organic potatoes are said to be cut 10 percent thicker than traditional kettle chips and slowc-ooked in small batches, resulting in a chip with more folds, bubbles and crunch. Quality of the ingredients aside, SpudLove’s potato chips can be found in Whole Foods and other retailers in the west as well as on Amazon, while purchases of the chips go on to support Farmers Ending Hunger.

Success Rice

Success Rice bills itself as “the 10 minute, foolproof, boil-in-bag rice.” Beyond white rice, brown rice, authentic basmati rice, and tri-colored quinoa varieties, the brand has a jasmine rice offering on the market. The jasmine rice bag offers a delicious flavor and sweet aroma, making it an easy addition to any meal from breakfast to dessert. With no water-to-rice ratio needed, it is a quick and easy delicious meal that is gluten free, non-GMO and free of both MSG and preservatives. Brand recipes can be found here.

The Vermont-based company essentially facilitates “Farm Delivery” for gardeners of any skill level, technically making it possible for an apartment-based novice gardener to start growing plants at home.

Smartwater

Glaceau Smartwater is a brand of bottled water owned by Energy Brands. Introduced in 1996 in the United States, by 2016 it was one of the top 5 brands of bottled water in the States.

Last week, smartwater — in partnership with comedian, writer, actor and producer Pete Davidson — helped America hit refresh after the holiday weekend with the first-ever Rehydration Day, a day dedicated to getting the nation back on its feet, rehydrated, replenished and ready to drink in the rest of the summer. This included events at Brooklyn’s Domino Park and Los Angeles’ Santa Monica Pier, where smartwater debuted smartwater-filled kegs, or “smartkegs.” One of these kegs currently sits in my kitchen, awaiting post-Rehydration Day enjoyment.

Arm & Hammer Foot Wipes

The Arm & Hammer brand is the one of the most trusted and respected names for quality, heritage, and products that deliver powerful sweat and odor mitigation. Its Arm & Hammer Foot and Body care collection aims to meet the needs of sweaty feet, body, shoes and more. This includes its new Cleansing and Refreshing Foot Wipes, which look to remove dirt, sweat and any other impurities from the feet in 1 quick wipe. Featuring Fresh Guard Technology, the wipes also contain baking soda and a textured design that looks to also eliminating and neutralizing odor from the feet. Great for post-beach sand removal.

ZYN

As founded by Pakistani-American brothers Asim and Qasim Khan, ZYN’s inception began a few years ago with one monumental “aha” moment. On a plane ride to visit their family in Pakistan, the brothers’ father suffered from a diabetes-related bout of inflammation causing severe pain in his foot. Upon arrival, Asim and Qasim’s aunt created a paste made from ground turmeric mixed with olive oil, massaged it onto his foot and wrapped it in cloth. An hour later, his pain was gone. Quality products aside, ZYN is a Certified B Corporation, which means they meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. In the U.S., there are only 165 B Corporations in the Food & Beverage sector; in the world, there are currently only far less than 3,000 certified B Corporations.

The just-released ZYN Daily Wellness Drink Mixes are a great-tasting 10-calorie, electrolyte drink powder that you mix with water for immunity and recovery. It follows in the footsteps of the brand’s curcumin-infused ready-made drinks with 4 of its own delicious, refreshing flavors: Strawberry Yuzu, Blackberry Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit Lemonade, and Mango Pomegranate. ZYN Daily Wellness Drink Mixes are an on-the-go solution for a variety of wellness benefits: rapid recovery from workouts, gut health, hydration as well as an immunity boost.

MiHIGH Sauna Blankets

Last but DEFINITELY not least… For decades, people have willingly spent a significant amount of money to either install an infrared sauna in their homes or maintain their gym and spa memberships to access the spa’s benefits. With their game-changing invention, Australian entrepreneurs Ed Hodge and Wyatt Westmoreland have brought the MiHIGH Infrared Sauna Blanket to market. This $499.00 MSRP offering delivers all of the benefits of an infrared sauna in a more compact manner, giving you sauna perks virtually any place and any time.

With its high-quality leather exterior, a waterproof interior and fireproof insulators within the blanket’s layers, it ensures both safety and consistent heat. That technology, in turn, supports an enhanced calorie burn, stimulates increased blood flow and elevated heart-rate — similarly to regular exercise — reportedly giving a calorie burn of up to 600 calories in just one 30-minute session wrapped inside the blanket. The infrared heat generated by the blanket is also said to produce a calming and mood-boosting effect as it activates the release of dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins, all known to alleviate stress and facilitate enhanced sleep. The versatile blanket can also be used as a recovery aid, and when used in combination with cold therapies, reduces inflammation and soreness.
