Rapper Lil Conscious’ Unique Claim To Fame

Stefan Islas Ross, better known by his stage name Lil Conscious, is an American rapper born and raised in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The artist has remained anonymous throughout his career, and the general public doesn’t know the face behind his name yet. With that being said, his musical journey and claim to fame is unique, and it all started back when Lil Conscious was in high school.

During his senior year of high school back in 2014, the unknown Lil Conscious released his first mixtape titled “Barley Conscious” and started to create buzz around the artist. In the following years, he would release a couple more mixtapes, including “Phase 1” and “Conscience.” His career was beginning to take off at that point, but out of nowhere, Lil Conscious removed himself from all streaming platforms, social media, and the internet entirely. This was very odd for someone with such a bright future, but later it was found to be due to mental health issues.

Patiently awaiting his comeback, Lil Conscious would appear again in full force in the year 2018. “Bojak,” Lil Conscious’s most famous song, was his re-coming out party, and the song accumulated over a million views in the first four months. The track was even backed by one of hip hop’s greatest talents, Drake, as he was seen in a video dancing to Lil Conscious’ song. Ever since that release, this mysterious artist’s career went through the roof.
Lil Conscious made his first release to Spotify just last year with the release of “Barley Conscious,” which features two tracks, “Bojak” and “Ashes.” That project has gone gold, marking a considerable accomplishment for the artist. The creative plans to release a new project soon called “9:11,” release date is unknown at this moment. Be sure to stay up to date with Lil Conscious, as you won’t want to miss his new project.
