The Hype Magazine wanted to know a bit more about Jourdin so we got her to weigh in on a few things

What was the defining moment that let you know the entertainment industry was for you?

When I saw Beyoncé & Aaliyah on TV being sexy and singing catchy songs; I said what else is there to do in life? Lol.

You’ve been writing and co-producing since age 10, what was it like growing up in the industry?

Looking back on it I’m so grateful for even being chosen to do what I love and seeing it from a background perspective first. I can’t thank god enough for the experiences and wisdom I’ve learned growing up in this field but to answer your question, it was very fun :).

Now that you’re all grown up, what’s the most important thing for us to know about Jourdin Pauline?

I would want everyone to know that I’m authentic. I want everyone to take away from me is to be yourself and to keep god first and see everything you put your mind to and BELIEVE.. Anyways, Pauline loves and cares and it’s much more elements of my artistry I can’t wait to show

Tell us about your current project and what it means for you?

“LOVE SONGS ABOUT NOBODY” means the world to me because I’m able to put a piece of my world out there, so that alone excites me. I love this project and I hope all our worlds love it too.

Do you have a favorite track from the project?

“Priceless” & “Lustful Desires” 😝

For new listeners, is there a track from your body of work that you feel best introduces you?

Omg all of them, but my top two are “NASTY” & “LUSTFUL DESIRES”.

What’s your favorite highlight from your career thus far?

Meeting and making new fans everyday. Everyday it’s something new that I’m grateful for that tops the others but for sure all that keeps me geekt is the love & support I receive

Outside of music, what are your passion projects?

I love acting.. and being able to tap into something new within myself.

Where do you see the internet world taking the entertainment industry?

I don’t know as of right now, but it’s doing a pretty good job making sure artists all over are able to showcase their potential etc. We’re making a lot of money with the internet. The only thing I hope for is it to stop being so mean & toxic lol.

How have you adapted to this new world created by the online community?

I mind my business and work hard and let my artistry speak for itself. I can’t feed too much into the internet world :/.

What would you like to see from the industry moving into the future?

Giving real talent a chance and recognition we all deserve and fair rights of course.

What’s the most satisfying for you about being a creative?

Being able to forget about all the craziness around us and just releasing. I create best when I’m centered so it’s like all the weight of the world instantly lifts off my shoulders and I could finally breathe. It’s like my meditation without it I’ll prolly go crazy lol.

What’s been your funniest WTF moment thus far in your career?

Hmmmm

Best advice you can give for those just starting to navigate the maze of the industry?

Pray a lot

Stay true to yourself

And stay the course

Work hard

Believe in yourself & never give up

Sounds corny but that’s the only thing that can carry us through trust me lol.
