Coolio On Working With Hormel, Its Black Label Bacon Wrapping Paper, His Next Album & More

Coolio first made international waves with the 1994 single “Fantastic Voyage,” which would become one of the biggest hip-hop singles of the year. The hits would keep coming for Coolio — including “Gangsta’s Paradise,” “1,2,3,4 (Sumpin’ New),” “It’s All The Way Live (Now)” and “Too Hot” — while the Compton-raised rapper has also found success over the years as an actor, reality television star and chef-author. In other words, Coolio has been worked on mainstream projects for close to 30 years.

Earlier today, the makers of HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon — a leader in breakfast meats in America — announced today the launch of HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon Wrapping Paper. The limited-edition wrapping paper features the joyous scent of HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon baked into every sheet and a mouth-watering decorative bacon weave pattern. With HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon Wrapping Paper, gift-givers can transform a very ordinary present into something truly extraordinary while making giving and receiving gifts this holiday season a truly delicious experience. That limited-edition HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon Wrapping Paper can be won by visiting WrappedbyBlackLabel.com between today and Friday, November 26, 2021; for every completed entry to win from November 9-26, Hormel Foods will donate $1.00 to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, up to $10,000.00.

To learn more about HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon and its HORMEL BLACK LABEL Bacon Wrapping Paper, I had the pleasure of speaking with Coolio on November 9, 2021 via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond HORMEL, Coolio also open up about his next album, his long-term success in entertainment, and getting to know ICP. More on Coolio and/or HORMEL can be found here, here, here and here.
