DeSean Jackson will join the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jackson became a free agent last week when the Rams failed to find a trade partner for a swap involving Jackson, who signed with Los Angeles in the offseason.

Jackson, 34, didn’t see enough playing time to continue with the team and both Jackson and L.A. agreed to seek a trade, but the Rams released him after the NFL trading deadline when they couldn’t strike a deal.

Prior to leaving LA, Jackson told Bally Sports Network’s TV analyst, Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson that the Rams were his first choice due to head coach, Sean McVay. “We have a great relationship,” he told Scoop B.

“He used to coach me for the three years when I was with Washington. And just to see his success and to see what he was able to accomplish since he’s been the head coach here in Los Angeles and to have the opportunity to play with him and reunite with him is a special thing to me because I know what type of coach he is and I know how passionate he is and he puts a big responsibility on himself and his players to go out and get the same success. So, it’s definitely great to be back.”

Jackson also spoke highly of Rams QB Matthew Stafford and called him ‘one of a kind.’

“I done played with a lot of great quarterbacks,” Jackson told Scoop B.

“Matthew Stafford is definitely special with what he’s able to do when that ball is in his hand — he got defenders coming after him and he’s doing one-legged passes and no looks and all types of crazy stuff. So, to have him as a quarterback is a good thing. Every Sunday he puts us in a great position to win, so that’s all you can ask for a quarterback.”

Jackson joins a 5-3 Raiders team that needs a deep threat. The team is without Henry Ruggs III who is currently facing four felony counts and a misdemeanor for his role in a traffic collision that resulted in the death of a young woman.

The Raiders released him last week following the fatal collision.

While Jackson was away from the field, he was also busy in the music studio.

In fact, Jackson’s Jaccpot Ent. continues to make noise with their new project Jaccpot Compilation.

The 10-song collection gives us relatable bars, harmonized R&B melodies, and true West Coast sentiments. With Tracks like “None Of That Shit,” Billy Boy Brody and DeSean Jackson turn us up with their lyricism over instrumentals. Paired with acoustic guitar sounds it’s one to turn up in the whip.

As they stick to their California roots, DeSean Jackson, Casey Veggies and MelDogg take us to the Westside with its speaker banging bass and west coast slang on “Crenshaw Nigga” and “MTF.”

Making sure to not exclude the ladies, the project finds ArmonieJAY vocalizing over repeated rhythms on tracks like “On Your Way,” a relatable ode for women who have it their way. From Trap to R&B, the Jaccpot artists show their versatility and give you a vibe for any occasion. Together they’re showing why there’s strength in numbers and a label to be reckoned with.
