Tomer Orenstein, a Fresh Face in the Global Music Industry

The middle-eastern country, Israel, is well-known for its innovative startups, bold political stance, and growing tourism industry. Being a country with a rich and interesting cultural background, arts and music have begun to develop and gain grounds here. Names like Infected Mushroom and Idan Raichel are popular and in this budding industry. As the music industry is still new and relatively untouched, there’s plenty of room for emerging artists and singers to establish themselves and become trend-setters. Tomer Orenstein, a proud Israelite born in Tel Aviv, is a passionate and talented singer who leverages this fact and is quickly emerging in this industry.

As per news and reports, Israel is home to more musicians and artists per capita than any other country in the world. Rightfully said as Tomer is one of these talented heads who is destined for success and is on the right track to gain it. He is one artist who has gained rapid popularity based on his great sense of music and a model-like face cut. Currently, Tomer has released four singles, out of which Vertigo and Tears were chosen for Universal Music Group’s “Spinnup.”

Tomer Orenstein was fond of music from an early age. This fondness then turned to a passion which he decided to pursue during his high school. His parents Ayelet Orenstein, an accountant, and Michael Orenstein, a pilot, both pursued noble professions and wanted the same career for him too. But destiny had it planned earlier. When he turned seven, Tomer learned to play keyboards, and after five years, he learned to play the guitar. He completed a high school degree in Computer Science in 2015 from Ben Gurion school. After the completion of his studies, he finally allotted his time to music – his love. At fourteen, he self-trained himself for music production and soon after started producing music professionally. His love for music enabled him to pick up the skill easily and smoothly. He practiced music production by creating projects for clients and learned a great deal from it.

Years of producing music for clients turned Tomer into a professional who was now ready to give his music a shot. 2019 was the year when he debuted with his music in the global music industry. Vertigo, his first single, was a love song that he wrote about his first experience of falling in love. The song was composed by Tomer himself and produced by Noam Akrabi. Vertigo turned out to be a massive success as it was chosen for Universal Music Group’s “Spinnup.” Starting off his career was a blast; Tomer Orenstein was already a new shining name in the industry. The positive response to the song boosted his confidence to create another single called Superman. Tracking the success of the previous single, this one had to be bigger and better, and so it was. Tomer’s second single was a music video that was shot in Kyiv, Ukraine. The video was directed and edited by Moran Kariv and starred Tomer along with model Vlada Soloviov.

To date, both of Tomer’s singles have received a positive response from the audience all around the world. Being a child of technology, Tomer Orenstein used the power of social media to the maximum. His smart move of releasing his music on all free platforms and using his personal social media accounts to promote his music is getting the right attention.

2021 proved to be a lucky year for the artist as he released another two singles, Tears and Heartbreakers. Both have been successful and have played over FM’s and Spotify all year long. Near the end of the year, Tomer Orenstein went on a world tour that started from his birth city, Tel Aviv, and expanded to Kyiv, Ukraine. Given the short span and his success, it can be said that Tomer Orenstein was truly made for the music industry. His excellent taste in music and peculiar yet unique song choices has made him stand out from the rest.

Being in the entertainment industry for years now, Tomer Orenstein has stepped his foot in an entrepreneurial and advertising company called “Results Digital.” His experience and learning in this dynamic space have enabled him to take risks and be bold about them. Tomer’s career in music has just begun, and there is a lot to come and expect from him. So stay tuned!
