Naomi Grossman On Her New Film “Bite Me,” “American Horror Story,” Upcoming Projects & More

On February 8, 2022, Adventure Kid and Blue Firefly Films will be releasing the new romantic comedy film Bite Me to digital download outlets. Within the film, Sarah — a real-life vampire — gets audited by the IRS, and the last thing she expects to get out of it is a date. But James, her hopelessly-romantic IRS agent, thinks she’s other-worldly. As an unlikely attraction sparks between the two misfits, they are forced to confront whether they have the courage to commit the terrifying, radical act of falling in love.

As helmed by award-winning writer and director duo Naomi McDougall Jones and Meredith Edwards, Bite Me features an impressive cast, including Naomi McDougall Jones (Imagine I’m Beautiful, Boardwalk Empire), Christian Coulson (Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets, Mozart In The Jungle), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story, Ctrl, Alt, Delete) and Annie Golden (Orange Is The New Black, Cheers). Bite Me is the second feature film from the duo of McDougall Jones and Edwards, as their first feature film — 2014’s Imagine I’m Beautiful — won 12 awards on the international film festival circuit.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Naomi Grossman via Zoom on February 3, 2022, as embedded below. More on Grossman and Bite Me can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
