Snoop Dogg, Kings of Leon, Bassjackers, Steve Aoki, BT, H.E.R., 3LAU Unite with Gala and 888 to Revolutionize How Music Will Be Financed, Owned and Published Forever

Gala Games, with the help of several major recording artists, unveiled its Gala Music platform to kick off a new decentralized music ecosystem set to revolutionize the music business forever. Last week, Gala brought together an exclusive group of artists, managers, and industry executives to the Forum in Los Angeles, to push the music industry into the future.

Gala’s new decentralized node network will improve rewards for artists, creatives, and allow fans to share in their success. Later this year, Gala will empower fans to earn money just for listening to their favorite artists. Special Node licenses were distributed to those in attendance. Node owners will be able to benefit financially from contributing to the ecosystem and share in rewards with pioneering musicians that drop music on the platform.

Gala also announced a partnership with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records. Snoop has dropped his new album, “Bacc on Death Row (B.O.D.R.),” as NFTs via a Stash Box sale with Gala Music. Three bonus tracks on the Snoop album will be released exclusively on Gala Music. Commemorative Death Row Records game items to celebrate the iconic Snoop Dogg, Death Row Records and Gala partnership were released on the Gala Games last week and are currently compatible with Town Star and Spider Tanks.

Gala Music Event attendees got to see visionary conversations on the future of music and web3 between Gala’s Sarah ‘Bux” Buxton, Julie Adenuga, Steve Aoki, and BT; and were entertained into the early morning with private performances by H.E.R., Kings of Leon, Bassjackers, BT, 3LAU, and Steve Aoki.

Artists came together to create a seamless experience, with BassJackers and ThankYouX joining forces to create a commemorative NFT for guests, guests also received a Player Node which will create the foundation of the Gala Music ecosystem.

At the event, Gala also announced a new partnership with Team Grit to bring their upcoming Wild West Battle Royale game, GRIT, to the Gala Games platform. Team Grit are a team of industry veterans who previously created Planetary Annihilation, Monday Night Combat, and more.

In GRIT, players will become gunslingers and face opponents across the western frontier of Sunrise County, a land where only survival earns a ride into the sunset. Players will wield an arsenal of Western-themed guns with realistic ballistics, get into shootouts in and around town, loot strategically by choosing weapons of the same card suit for special perks, and ride their ponies in GRIT’s vast Wild West. Every game of GRIT is different based on Wild Cards, from Train Chase mode to the Golden Horse – welcome to the Wild West.
