Meet Urban Contemporary Gospel Recording Artist Appointed

Urban contemporary gospel recording artist known around some circles as Appointed has proven to hold true to the meaning of her name, “selected or designated to fill an office or a position” this talented fearless hard-working worship crier continues to make strides in sharing the gospel message through song. And then there are the various gospel music awards Appointed has won that include four S & M Indie Gospel Music Awards, three Newsome Music Awards, and more.

Appointed is an “on-air” Radio Personality at WNRR Gospel 1380 AM & 93.3 FM and a media personality on other radio and tv platforms. She is the host of the award-winning At Home With Appointed Show as well as the publisher of the award-winning SPIN AWARDS MAGAZINE, a publication that honors those who spin the gospel message. All in all, she is a lover of GOD and a bonafide worship crier.

Appointed was blessed to participate in the launch of Fly Award Records, a label with nationally distributed titles, and released a track called “Shine” as part of the Fly Away Records Compilation project titled, “Fly Away Records Presents Independents” with rapper Mic Won. Independents picked up some buzz for the label and for Appointed. She now acts as President of the label.

Along the way, Appointed battled various levels and types of adversity that included drug addiction, child abuse, depression homelessness, domestic violence, and child molestation. During those hard times, Appointed did not know that all of the things she endured would ultimately lead to GOD being glorified through her life as she is a living, walking, breathing testimony to what God can do with what is meant to harm.

Her single “Opposites” was released worldwide via Sony Music/Rhythm Gospel Music on the DOMONIQUE MITCHELL presents “Inspirational Music For The Soul compilation CD. Appointed is on a mission to make massive moves for His Glory. Her latest single “Glorious” is already getting airplay and has created quite the STIR UP. Glorious charted on the Billboard Internet Radio Charts at #206.

Appointed is set to release a new single named Give Me A Heart shares her heart to be everything that GOD has saved her to be in Him. Appointed is on a mission to make massive moves for His Glory and continues to build a reputation as one of the ones to watch in the gospel music industry
