Genevieve Adams On Her New Film “Simchas & Sorrows,” Future Plans & More

Genevieve Adams is a New York-based actress, writer, director and producer. As an actress within the film world, Adams has appeared in Pascale Ferran’s Bird People, The Skeleton Twins, A Walk Among The Tombstones, How To Be Single, Jason Bateman’s The Family Fang, Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, and Jodie Foster’s Money Monster. Her TV credits include Netflix’s The OA and AMC’s Dietland.

Acting credits aside, Genevieve Adams wrote and produced I’m Obsessed With You (But You’ve Got To Leave Me Alone). She also took on a multi-faceted role with his most recent project, Simchas & Sorrows, as its writer, director and producer. Simchas & Sorrows also stars Hari Nef, Thomas McDonell and John Cullum, and it had its world premiered at Cinequest’s CineJoy Virtual Festival earlier this month.
