N.W.A. Co-Founder Arabian Prince On The Metaverse, MdDAO, The Early Days Of N.W.A., Guns N’ Roses & More

Founded in 2021, MdDAO was born from the collaborative initiative of individuals who combine a diverse and complementary set of expertise in healthcare, marketing, and technology. Through the collective efforts and vision of the MdDAO community, it will design and construct the premier metaverse in the area of health and wellness, improving access to care, opening doors for innovation, and leveling the playing field. A medical utility token (MedV) will serve as the preferred transactional token on the metaverse. It will be complemented by a “healthy habit” rewards program to drive adoption in the virtual and physical worlds. This unique interplay between the MedV token with health, wellness and the metaverse will aim to shift healthcare as we know it towards an enhanced patient-centric interaction, thus opening the door globally to a multi-dimensional experience.

One of the co-founders of MdDAO is N.W.A. co-founder Arabian Prince. Beyond his time with N.W.A., Prince produced Supersonic, the hit single and album for J.J. Fad. Post-N.W.A., Prince resumed a solo career. Weirdly, Prince was not much of a presence within the acclaimed N.W.A. bio-pic Straight Outta Compton, even though historical documentation show him to have been present for many of the events depicted within the film. Prince has stayed active within the gaming and music spaces over the years, and has even appeared on 2 studio albums by the influential industrial-metal band Ministry.

On April 22, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Arabian Prince via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond MdDAO and the metaverse, we spoke about the early days of N.W.A., N.W.A. almost working with Guns N’ Roses by way of Eazy-E, his long-term appreciation for computers, and plenty more. Additional info on Arabian Prince and MdDAO can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
