Bethany Joy Lenz is starring in the haunted hotel thriller, So Cold The River, based on the bestseller by Michael Koryta. The story revolves around documentary filmmaker Erica Shaw, played by Lenz, who inadvertently awakens a dark evil long thought to be buried in the past. So Cold the River screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021. It opened nationwide on March 25th.

Next, Lenz stars opposite Paul Bettany in the dramedy Harvest Moon, for Miramax. The film revolves around a young boy who sees an opportunity to reunite his separated parents while the pandemic shuts down the world. Bettany co-wrote the film with Dana Brown. The film co-stars Candice Bergen, and Cary Elwes.

Lenz has reunited with her One Tree Hill costars, Sophia Bush and Hillarie Burton to launch “Drama Queens,” a podcast which instantly hit # 1 on the charts. Ryan Seacrest recently said that “the trailer alone became the number one trailer to ever [heard] in the history of audio.” Bethany wrote and performed the catchy title song, “Drama Queens.” Lenz will also appear alongside Sophia Bush and Hillarie Burton in an upcoming episode of Good Sam on CBS.

Lenz recently starred opposite Brian Geraghty (Hurt Locker/Chicago PD) and Sharon Leal (Dream Girls) in BLINDFIRE, based on actual events about a police officer who kills an African-American suspect in a hostage case only to later learn of the man’s innocence. The film touches on racial tension, identity and redemption.

Lenz’s other credits include her lead performance in the female-led political drama PEARSON, a spin-off of the popular series SUITS. She starred in 187 episodes of the Warner Bros hit series, ONE TREE HILL, and the award-winning series, DEXTER. Her other television credits include: GREY’S ANATOMY, CSI, COLONY, and AGENTS OF S.H.E.I.L.D. Bethany is an accomplished actress, musician, singer, entrepreneur, artist, activist, blogger, and fashionista. Bethany has 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
