Dallas String Quartet’s Share Elegant Instrumental Cover, “Wildest Dreams”

Today, Dallas String Quartet (DSQ) releases their orchestral string arrangement of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” just in time for wedding, prom, and ballroom season! Their instrumental rendition is a romantic serenade decorated with lush orchestration and elegance. “Wildest Dreams” delivers a Bridgerton-esque setting, perfect for grand ballroom entrances, flirtatious glances, and romantic courtyard affairs.

“Wildest Dreams” is the first single off DSQ’s upcoming album, slated for Oct. 7, 2022.

Dallas String Quartet was founded in 2007 by violist Ion Zanca. A fusion of contemporary classical and pop music, DSQ is referred to as “Bach meets Bon Jovi” and is compared to artists like Lindsey Stirling, Vitamin String Quartet and 2Cellos. They use both traditional and electric strings performing as a quartet with the full accompaniment of drums and guitar and are known for their eclectic renditions of everything from Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child of Mine” to Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “Señorita.” DSQ has performed for Presidents Obama and Bush, the College Football Playoffs, NBA, NFL organizations, and most recently performed at the wedding of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, gaining the attention of USA Today, People Magazine, E! News, TMZ, Entertainment Tonight and more.

In October 2021, DSQ released a collaboration with The Piano Guys, called “You Are The Reason,” featured on The Piano Guys’ new albums, “Chill” and “Love.”

In March 2022, DSQ’s popular rendition of Katy Perry’s “Firework” was included in season 20 of American Idol.
