Adelia is on a Mission to End Stigmatization in ‘OFfensive’ Careers and Empower the World
You are like to be stigmatized and face criticism and other obstacles if you choose the “OFfensive” career path. People in such careers are seen as outcasts, especially when raised in a religious family. However, due to the rising popularity of these professions, those involved are no longer afraid to face challenges due to the nature of their jobs. Today, numerous platforms have been created to empower them.
Adelia is among many who have faced challenges from a young age due to her different mindset. However, she overcame them, and today, Adelia is proud and confident in her career. She recently created a podcast, That’s OFfensive, to empower and de-stigmatize people in the same profession or aspiring to join but are still battling challenges.
Adelia or alter ego, Deelz, grew up in California in a very religious family who did not support her lifestyle. Adelia started using weed at 12 to cope with the stress but was eventually sent to rehab for seven months. However, the negative environment at rehab only created more issues for her, including anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, (PTSD), and an eating disorder.
The young Adelia later attended the University of Arizona to study marketing. During college, she learned to appreciate herself. “I liked showing my body off, posting racy Instagram pictures, and going to raves in little pasties,” Adelia says. She graduated from college and secured two corporate jobs, but she struggled to fit in and found the atmosphere stifling. “I decided to become an OnlyFans girl. I created a podcast to change the stigma around “OFfensive” careers such as OnlyFans.”
This launched a new chapter in Adelia’s life. The podcast attracted thousands of subscribers on OnlyFans. This was a huge motivation that inspired her to create her solo podcast, That’s OFfensive, which airs every Tuesday on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube.
Currently, Adelia has over 240K fans on OnlyFans, 699K plus on TikTok, and roughly 466k on Instagram. Amazingly, after only two years on OnlyFans, Adelia has made almost $2 million. You can tell that she enjoys creating content to keep her devoted followers engaged. She freely exposes her body, thus breaking generational norms about sexuality, and appreciates who she is and what she does.
Despite her success, Adelia faces a major challenge with social media restrictions. “I am now on my fourth Instagram, am constantly locked out of TikTok, banned from Twitter, and have to constantly watch what I say. I think it’s also hard to be taken seriously when I show my body off since many people have this notion that you can’t show your body, work hard, and have self-respect. I’ve made it my mission to help break these harmful stigmas with my podcast and my platforms,” Adelia explains.
Adelia wishes to see her podcast turn into one of the most listened-to podcasts in the US. She also looks forward to beING engaged by Barstool and having an influential global podcast network.
