Imran Tariq, Shares How He Helps Musicians Get More Exposure

Most people don’t understand the importance of promotion correctly but often try to get the cheapest prices but the focus is going to be more on consistency and speed with value. It all boils down to attracting positive attention to your brand and focusing on what is going to resonate with the listeners. And despite what everyone believes (or at least what everyone has heard), not all publicity is good, says Imran Tariq.

Imran believes that good publicity is the natural result of the attention you will garner by adding value whether through your videos or lyrics or voice in people’s zone of acceptance.

Here are Imran’s tips to start getting traction with music downloads:

Partnerships and associations. Like yourself, your tribe will have more than one person you like to listen to, so how about collaborating with those who are similar in size or slightly bigger to reach a wider audience? Maybe you have more exposure on Youtube and they do on Tiktok or another platform, make sure to promote them as well as yourself in the collaboration and if need be offer some articles about them, to encourage the collaboration. The situation is a win-win, and it is so vital for massive downloads so you can focus on win-win.

Influencers’ Campaigns And Omnipresence

Another vital strategy for success is to be omnipresent and have influencers who contain your target audience to promote you through reels or Youtube Shorts as they get more traction than posts or long-term videos. Focus on trying to grow your audience on social media on several channels, for many artists underestimate Twitter even to get coverage in the media. Where do these big influencers stay active but not as heavily bombarded so more likely to get a response? Editors/Journalists are often on Twitter, imagine getting free exposure there. Again focus on
winning where others aren’t.

Be seen on TV or Radio.

How do you get on more radio or TV and have them promote your channel, my favorite place is to start local and work outwards statewide then nationwide. Show success, build confidence and have a media reel and watch how you can reach an audience in a different way. Another thing is Google owns the largest TV network in the world which is untapped, you can reach people in their living rooms through this.

Make content shareable.

Imran shares his friend Angie Lee, content creator and influencer, says it best: Behind every like, comment, and share is a heartbeat. The best content is share-worthy to your audience. Focus on content that will want people to share it which is often through stories or something different. The people who share your content share your vibe. The content they share will attract more people who resonate with you, because, as the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together. Always remember that whichever medium you are using, everyone has a heartbeat and is relatable to your tribe.
