Kehlani’s Blue Water Road Trip Tour is a Must-See

Kehlani is an artist that truly gives music a heartbeat and delivers every note with passion while wearing her heart on her sleeve. Although she may come across as a bit forward and edgy for some, Kehlani is true to her core and gives her audience a raw and unique perspective into her life through her music. She’s always embraced her desire for love and takes every listener on a journey that will make you instantly fall in love and feel every heartbreak. The Bay Area-born two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum songstress unlocks this place anytime she picks up a pen or grabs a microphone. Thus far, she has picked up over twenty gold and platinum RIAA certifications, tallied 5 billion streams, and garnered a pair of GRAMMY® Award nominations in the categories of “Best Urban Contemporary Album” for the gold-certified mixtape You Should Be Here and “Best R&B Performance” for the platinum single “Distraction.” Beyond blockbuster collaborations with Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Kiana Ledé, Teyana Taylor, and Kyle, she has appeared on soundtracks such as Suicide Squad: The Album, The Fate of the Furious: The Album, and more. Along the way, she received the “Rule Breaker Award” from Billboard Women In Music and performed at Voodoo Music + More, Coachella, and beyond. She reached a critical and creative high watermark with her sophomore offering, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. It not only bowed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200, but it also concluded 2020 on over a dozen year-end lists from Billboard, Esquire, Hypebeast, Nylon, Seventeen, Spin, Stereogum, The Guardian, and many more. Now, she welcomes everyone into the rapture of her third full-length album, Blue Water Road [Atlantic Records].

The tour kicked off on July 29th in Portsmouth, VA, at the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion, making stops in 38 cities across North America. In addition to the North American dates, you can also catch her show in over 20 cities in Europe. The fans have been raving about their “Blue Water Road Trip” experience, saying, “Kehlani is literally one of the best live performers in music right now. When I tell you the vocals were “vocaling,” the choreography was hitting, and their stage presence is just insane” another fan said, “You gotta go to a Kehlani concert if you want to truly live. The mic stays on [and the] vocals [are] so effortless,” needless to say the post-experience left her fans feeling wildly excited! I was in the building for the Atlanta, GA tour stop at the Coca-Cola Roxy, and I can truly say that it was by far one of the most memorable shows I’ve ever attended. Everything from start to finish was flawless. Kehlani is an artist that has a way of taking you on a journey with her through every song and making you feel connected.  Her vocals were effortless, the choreography was on point, and the all-women band was incredible! She had special guest 6lack onstage to perform their collaborative record “RPG,” in addition to performing some of her biggest hits like “Distraction,” “The Way,” “Honey,” “Open,” and many others. The fans were going crazy, and the room was filled with so much love; it felt like pure magic! A truly unforgettable experience. Kehlani’s “Blue Water Road Trip” tour is a must-see!
