Live Session With Dr. Desiree Williams of CBS’s ‘The Challenge: USA’

Live Session with Dr. Desiree Williams about her role in CBS’s “THE CHALLENGE: USA,” her work in empowering WOC through all she does, namely her book Love Affair with my Hair: Why Black Women Cheat on Health, why she felt it was necessary to get her Doctorates degree on top of all her other accomplishments, what lessons she took from winning Miss Virginia USA, and so much more. We also got to discuss her mobile physical therapy business!

Desiree Williams PT, DPT is a television host, actress, author, and TV Personality with a Doctorate degree in physical therapy and a past life as a college professor. She stunned viewers as a castaway on Season 35 of “Survivor” so much so that CBS is having her back for the first season of their newest reality competition show, “THE CHALLENGE: USA,” which airs on Wednesdays (9:30-11:00 PM, PT/ET).

Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and Bunim/Murray Productions, “THE CHALLENGE: USA” is available to stream live and on-demand on the CBS app and Paramount+*. The summer premiere comes on the heels of recent ratings success, given MTV’s “THE CHALLENGE” was the very first reality competition series when it launched on June 1, 1998, and is currently the longest-running reality series in the history of television.

This was a fun, and informative conversation with Dr. Williams who covered some of her trials and triumphs as a business owner as she has traveled to compete in not only Survivor but her newest adrenaline fix, The Challenge!
