Zoë Ferguson Channels an All Too Relatable Fear in “Die Alone”

Portland-based artist Zoë Ferguson is back with a bop; “Die Alone” via RockDafuOut Records is a subtle reminder to fans that there is far more to life than meets the eye. Continuing to bring in new fans with her smooth vocals and relatable lyrics, the young artist has proven to have a keen ear for catchy, mainstream-friendly pop tunes. In the new track, Zoë reflects on the loss of a long relationship. At the time she wrote the track, she felt like she didn’t have very many people in her life, fearing that she’d never be in a relationship ever again. Worrying about dying alone is a fear all to relatable to many; in a world of dating apps and a ‘grass is always greener’ mentality, it’s easy to think that nobody will want to commit. It was a hard time for Zoë, but writing the song is what helped her cope and move forward. Perhaps her most authentic and vulnerable hit yet, we enjoy the unique juxtaposition of heart-on-sleeve storytelling and pop friendly melodies that her listeners know and love.

Since the release of her debut EP, “Probably About You”, in September of 2021, Zoë Ferguson has seen her fanbase explode.  With nearly 350k followers between TikTok and Snapchat alone, she has quickly become a sought-after influencer who seems to have her finger on the pulse.  With a rapidly growing number of engaged fans following her every move, anticipation for new music is higher than ever and Zoë is just about ready to deliver.
