Live Session with actor, stuntman, and director, R. Marcus Taylor whom many might recognize from his several portrayals of Death Row Records executive Suge Knight, Straight Outta Compton (2015) and Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le (TV Movie), and more recently as East-O in the “Step Up: High Water” TV Series (Starz).
Taylor weighed in on his journey into the entertainment world which started via the circuitous route of becoming a martial arts champion in multiple disciplines, personal trainer, and all-around real-life badass. He recounts the details of how he got the role of Suge Knight which would make him a face that is known across the globe, the fallout from his stardom, and his struggles with mental illness challenges.
Now back on the move with fresh energy and an understanding of himself and the world in which he moves, this grateful and insightful dynamo motivates those around him and prepares once again to step to the forefront of the film and television world with new projects.
