Music Producer 6 Points and his label MVM are breaking down doors in 2023

Producers in the music industry are very much as important as the recording artists that we all like to listen to today! Throughout the years, as a music fan you may not realize how important the producer to your favorite song actually is but with a little research you’d be surprised. Today we have a producer that’s well acquainted with the music industry by the name of 6 Points. 6 Points has done work with multiple music artist such as Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz , Sy Ari Da Kid, iakopo, Yungeen Ace, TEC and many more! We had a chance to interview the multitalented producer and below is what he had to say!

How long have you been in the music industry?

Man I’ve been making beats since 2008. I had my 1st artist sign a deal with Atlantic Records in 2015 and that opened up everything for me. I signed my 1st Distro deal with Equity Distribution which is a independent distribution company under Roc Nation’s umbrella in 2020. I started releasing my own singles in May of 2022.

Who have you worked with so far that you feel like gave you that feeling of “Yo im doing my thing!” ?

That moment for me was probably when I did a song for Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz in 2021. That whole process is something I’ll remember forever no lie haha

What is your latest project?

My latest projects are a few songs that I’m getting ready to release and a music video I wanna drop soon as well. I’m also working on a YouTube series called 6 Points TV. I really want to give the fans a closer look at what it looks like to be in the studio with me. How I work, How my personality— Just a glimpse of the vibe we create when we’re in the studio.

2023, is approaching fast, what’s coming up for you?

Upcoming in 2023 I have a movie that I’m acting in coming out called “Sisters”. The director is Jahmar Hill and the CoStars are Colombus Short from ‘Stomp The Yard’ and ‘Scandal’ Lil Mama, KD Aubert from ‘Friday After Next’, and De’Aundre Bonds from ‘The Wood’. I play the role of a doctor. I have a song with Rapper Yungeen Ace coming out on his next album “Survivor Of The Trenches” dropping early 2023. I produced it with my producer brothers “Key Kartel”. I’m also going to be pushing for my new record label “Most Valuable Music Records” aka “MVM Records” to be more of a household name. We want to create moments in time with our music. The goal is to make our music so undeniable it lasts forever.

Along with music you have a career in acting? How is that going?

Yeah I definitely want to become a big time actor for sure. I’ve always had that vision as a kid and it’s cool to see that some momentum is starting to pick up. I filmed my 1st movie as a police officer named Officer Bryan in the movie “Run”. It was released in October 2022. That got my feet wet in the business. The director is named Jahmar Hill. I was fortunate enough to be in his latest film as well called “Sisters” which I described earlier.

Have you produced tracks for any films or shows?

Yes, I produced 8 Songs for the show ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ and ‘Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta’

I also produced 4 songs for the movie “Run”. Big thank you to Jahmar Hill for that opportunity as well!
