Gospel Recording Artist, Artishea Launched Her First Single ‘We Need Healing’

Hailing from West Palm Beach, FL, Artishea is a lover of the arts with a special place in her heart for vocal performance. She graduated in 2014 from Wesleyan College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Music. Although she was classically trained from 5th grade through college, she has mastered several styles of music, including opera, gospel, jazz, pop, R&B, soul, neo-soul, and more. She has served as a vocal analyst and director of several church choirs, as well as the Wesleyan College BSA Gospel Choir, and the youth community choir, Destined for Greatness. She has had the pleasure of performing as a background vocalist for notable artists including Beverly Crawford and Tweet. She has also been a part of opening acts for Patti Labelle, John P. Kee, Leandria Johnson, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tye Tribbett, the O’Jays, and more. Artishea has performed in stage plays including “Stand Up and Be What God Said,” and “Doors”, both directed by Dr. Rickey Edmond, as well as “The Wrong Right, The Right Wrong”, directed by Temeka Thomas.

Notable highlights of her career include having the pleasure of collaborating with Otis Redding III, and performing for Tweet, the Walls Group, and Tye Tribbett. Artishea’s goal is to inspire and encourage all through her music. Middle Georgia ministries all have been blessed by Artishea’s gifts and FWMG has taken her on to help spread her gift and ministry to the world.

Artishea authentically worships and ushers in the Holy Spirit wherever she goes. She intentionally spreads a message of love, self-worth, empowerment, and above all, the ultimate Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love for us all!
