LuckyDesigns has earned a reputation as one of the best graphic designers and video editors in the business with a portfolio including some of the most innovative and captivating visuals. He has worked with big YouTubers and social media content creators from the US and the UK, including KSI and IShowSpeed, with many praising his experimental and unorthodox approach to design.

LuckyDesigns is a self-taught graphic designer. He started learning graphic design and video editing in 2016 when he was 11. At the time, LuckyDesigns didn’t see this as something he would do full-time. He was just looking for a distraction, but the more he dabbled with it, the more captivated he became. LuckyDesigns watched YouTube videos of other graphic designers and then attempted to recreate similar designs on his iPad.

When he decided to fully commit to graphic design and video editing practice, he began looking for his own style. LuckyDesigns wanted something that would differentiate his work in the highly-crowded industry and help him share his story and those of his clients. He draws inspiration from the 90s and 2000s films, movie posters, album covers, and magazines.

He starts by identifying the client’s needs to help him know what themes to use to create stunning visuals. “I always start by listening to the client’s goals and objectives,” he says. “From there, I use my knowledge of design principles and best practices to develop a concept that will meet the client’s needs.”

Next, LuckyDesigns works on creating a visual language that will be used throughout the project. “I like to think of it as a kind of visual shorthand,” he adds. He then moves on to the actual editing process.

Before LuckyDesigns begins working on a project, he spends time analyzing the content, looking for ways to make it more interesting and engaging. One of his goals with every project is to create a unique, visually appealing result that meets the client’s expectations. LuckyDesigns creates banners, thumbnails, cover art, headers, and more.

He encourages aspiring creators to invest in their craft and believe in themselves. LuckyDesigns adds the importance of working smart and adopting new techniques to help with creativity. “Graphic design and video editing are all about creativity, and investing in it can open up a world of opportunities, helping you build a solid brand in the industry,” he concludes.

In the coming years, LuckyDesigns seeks to expand his career into acting or modeling as he helps creators with their design work.
