Hip-Hop Meets Electronic Pop on Shaquille Pinckney’s “I’ve Been Waiting All Night”

When it comes to mixing elements of Hip-Hop with other genres, Shaquille Pinckney is the guy for the job. With his upcoming Album “February Nights” there’s one particular record that is really making its way through the gates of the music industry.
“I’ve Been Waiting All Night” is set to be released towards the end of the summer. The upbeat, electrifying instrumental was produced by Solo Otto from Gaborone, Botswana who also produced the beat for Summer Walker’s “Hardlife,” which debuted #26 on the Billboard 200. Also, the Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Colin Leonard; also had his hands on crafting the sonics on the record and giving it that extra industry pop.
The highly anticipated album effortlessly showcases high-level lyrical ability, poetry in motion, and blazing instrumentals, resulting in a sound that is unique and next-level musically. Mr. Pinckney states this will be his greatest Album to date because of how he explores different genres on this mesmerizing  LP.
The LP runs through many themes such as love, storytelling about life, club music vibrations, and soulful pieces you’ll be bound to within the first few seconds. “Soul Music Poetry” is Mr. Pinckney’s stage name which is also his initials to his actual name; hence Shaquille M. Pinckney, which represents what he stands for as an artist. To create music from the soul to deliver through his poetry is the motto he lives by as an artist growing up in Lynn, Massachusetts. Shaquille Pinckney was born on February 24, 1994, so that was the inspiration behind his upcoming project, “February Nights.”
