WETV’s Dining Divas Season 4 Launch Party: A Night of Glamour, Gastronomy, and Community Celebration

In a dazzling fusion of food, celebrities, and captivating hosts, WETV’s Dining Divas stepped into the spotlight to celebrate the highly anticipated Season 4 of their show with a star-studded VIP Launch Party. The vibrant event unfolded on Thursday, October 12th, at the iconic Smitty’s restaurant, nestled in the historic Sistrunk community in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The evening promised and delivered a symphony of light bites and specialty drinks sponsored by Uncle Nearest Whiskey, bringing together a diverse array of guests, including celebrities, influencers, political officials, industry insiders, and passionate food enthusiasts.

The festivities kicked off with a VIP Red Carpet, where the cast of Dining Divas and notable guests graced the event in style. Cameras flickered as the red carpet became a showcase of fashion and flair, setting the tone for an evening full of energy.

As the sun set, the VIP Launch Party took center stage and Smitty’s Restaurant provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening.

Smitty’s is located in the heart of the historic Sistrunk community. Sistrunk, renowned as the first community developed for blacks in Fort Lauderdale, holds a profound cultural legacy. Christin Curran, a Broward County native and the driving force behind Dining Divas, expressed her excitement about showcasing the history, culture, and revitalization of the historical Sistrunk Boulevard.

“Born and raised in Broward County, there’s nothing that makes me happier than to see the growth and positive changes in our communities. The history, culture, and rebuild of the historical Sistrunk Boulevard is a story that must be told, and I’m excited to showcase it on Dining Divas TV,” said Christin Curran.

Dining Divas, an engaging travel and culinary adventure show, explores the trendiest dining hotspots globally. Each episode whisks viewers away to amazing restaurants, unveiling signature cocktails and the chef’s favorite dishes. Vibrant hosts lead the way, capturing the culinary expertise of chefs in action. After the culinary journey, hosts and celebrity guests convene at the dining table, offering viewers an intimate glimpse into the lives of these influential figures.
